Unless you are in pre-Meiji Era Japan. Tokyo is the capital of Japan. The Emperor and the Imperial Family resides in the Tokyo Imperial Palace ever since Emperor Meiji moved the Throne from Kyoto to Edo (Modern Tokyo) in 1869.

I see. I always saw Kyoto as the capital. I thought it was a misconception that Tokyo was the capital. When I was young, I always thought Auckland was the capital of New Zealand. Then I saw it was Wellington

Guess I'm wrong and Choxorn is in the right city then.
