Dynamic Traits

Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps the best mod after Better Bts Ai & unofficial patch!!!

Is it possible to merge the DLL with Btetter Bts Ai DLL?

Ai can advantage himself with the new traits???

UPDATE: I tried it and it crash to desktop after I press "end turn" at turn 1. Also no leader showed in civilipedia.

So, Is there any chance someone could port this to WoC &or RevDMC? I have an ambition to use this mod very badly to effect changes that I feel would be enormously beneficial to empire management, and indeed, looking at this mod as only something to make leaders a little more interesting is a very narrow view and I think there is much much more potential in this, one major critisism I am not likely to have the skill to mod is that the trait pop up for the country flag could be condensed more with less useless information.

That's pretty impressive!

I guess no one ever thought this was worth porting to WoC :(

Are there any laid out instructions on how I should begin, the xml options, etc?

Is it also possible to get the source code for this for the option for people to merge with other mods?

Dyntraits Source

This may or may not be of help to people, These are source files from Rife (which contain in some form or another the Dyntraits source code, there was mention of making changes to it for rife but I do not know how much it changes it.) I have not tried to integrate it into our mod yet, This is just collecting files from a search for Dyntraits, which is how it was labelled in the code. So hopefully if you merge all the Dyntraits sections correctly you will have a working dyntraits source code! We are going to try this soon with our mod to see if it works, but in the meantime anyone is welcome to try!

of course I take no credit for, or understanding of, the code.

Yeah, as far as I know there are people playing the latest RifE svn, but I think DynTraits is not enabled (I didn't even know it was in the repository :))

A note to everybody who wants to merge this to bts:
I know of at least one function that doesn't exist in bts but in FfH2, and is probably relevant for DynTraits: CvPlayer.setHasTrait(). I don't think the RifE Team commented in with "DynTraits", since it was already in FfH.

So if you encounter other missing functions, you may need access to the full RifE source code (found in Public/CvGameCoreDLL).
