You said you made some changes (to the map), now the stuff doesn't load anymore. In your last post you say now the mod crashes.

Oh, and why does the name of the attached .zip say 3.17? It's not a mod for 3.17, isn't it? If so, why are you not patched to 3.19?

If I also see it right, then it's a mod for playing with 34 civs. Your map has only 18 civs in it (...and loads with normal BtS without a problem), therefore it cannot work with a 34 civs mod.

I had thought the 34 civs map was up to 34 civs. Would the mod be more likely to load if I put the map in the mod (is the mod unable to be played with the default maps)? Maybe I should look around the mod a little more.
 
Yes, the mod is up to 34 civs.
But you still need to have 34 civs defined in the map itself, and currently it's only 18. It doesn't matter how many civs are actually there, but you need 34 civ entries, even if the civs are "dead" and not really on the map.
Adding the needed entries without adding an actual civ is relatively easy, see here.
 
I tried the more than 18 civs mod by J.P., and when I deleted the RandomStartLocation=true for all the excess civs, all the cities in Asia and Australia got erased. I have no idea how. Here are some images:

Another strange thing is that everyone who was not wiped out had a score of 10000.
Here is the file. In the original files, CivGameCoreDLL was in the Assets folder and Earth 2012AD was in the PublicMaps folder.

Put back the RandomStartLocation=true. That's important, I think. Also, Italy could use Torino or Venezia.

That should fix the problem, since I'm using the dll from Earth 2010.
