Economy Mod

Thanks for the tip FixPoint. Do you have an issue with this crashing when running Civ 5 latest update (6)? It's unpredictable for me but it usually starts happening after 130-150 rounds. May crash every couple rounds or may go 20. Anyone else have a solution?
 
This is how I fixed the missing unit panel for myself:

Go to My Documents folder, then edit file "My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Economy Mod (v 5)\UI\InGame\WorldView\UnitPanel.lua".

On the lines 176 and 209 find the words
Code:
ActionIconLookup( action.Type )
and change then to
Code:
ActionIconLookup( action.Type ).IconIndex
It seems that an object was passed where an integer was expected.

If your editor does not display lines, just search for those words, there are only two occurences on the mentioned lines.

Yes, I have this bug too :(
Also, sometimes I cannot choose production in a city - clicking on units/buildings doesn't do anything. Have to save/load to work around this.
UPD: The bug with choosing production occurs only in newly annexed cities.

same here!! terrible annoying, right? things are starting to work out so well, and suddenly the game crashes, most of the time at the beginning of a round. "glad" its not a hardware issue!
 
Can someone tell me which files to keep if I only want 1) Ability to show unit upgrades on screen 2) Production que always shown when selecting a city. It crashes too much to be of use to me but these two functions would probably cause no problem. A little help if you please. Thanks
 
Until this is fixed, I'd suggest getting the individual mods this incorporates. Not the ones that major game changes to things like workshops though. I've installed all the informative mods separately with no problems except the one mod that changes the building queue.... occasionally it won't let you select an item so you have to do a save/reload. Rare problem though. I'm running AgS Resource Panel, Civ Clock, CsebMod (extended plot info), Great People Info, Improved Build Queues, Info Addict and Legions with no problem.

hello, i like the mod but i am having one problem with it. Every time i activate it the panel for the units actions, for example(The settler has a button were he builds a city, i can no longer see that.) :cry: and not only the settler but every unit. So please help me on this. Thank you.

Did you guys do what fixpoint said at the top of this page? I did and it solved the problem.
 
The fix seems to work only with land units, the problem persist in the naval units (Only try with the first one, workboat)

Edit: Noticed that are only the workboats, the rest of naval units works perfectly with the fix but the Great Persons have the same problem that the workboats
 
I've red last 5 pages (too sleepy for more), but didn't found anybody reporting: discussion with AI is not wright. Some buttons don't work ("I hope we will be friends for long" or something like that), and others are just wrong. I clicked on "Let's discuss other players" and Hiawatha was offended by me telling him not to settle nearby :)

Hope to see fixed version, mod seams great!
 
I am having the same interface problems as many others: no unit panel appearing when a unit is selected and no information being presented about ground on mouse over. :( It is frustrating, as I want the gameplay changes this mod makes. Looking forward to when it all gets fixed, Valk! ;)
 
I wouldn't just pull out info addict. I'd like to see (as if I have any say in it :) ) the information mods (infoaddict, mod list, resource list, etc...) in a separate mod from any that modify game play.

If i may interrupt the flow of Valkrionn "work" but not trying to implicate any decision he might make on such an issue...
I too prefer Total_Gameplay MODs to be separated (somehow) from more generalistic UI ones for many reasons;

1-- Compatibility collisions in TopPanel, DiploPanel, InfoPanel, UnitPanel, MinimapPanel, etc.
2-- Asynchronous releases of updates_fixes by original authors.
3-- Current lack of coordinated methods in complying with official Patches at low-level functions & features. (Although Alpaca tried something with Diplo already)
4-- Let the users choose which ones are more important or essential.
5-- Mod Browser & ModBuddy "activities" outside of anybody's control except those which use it for specific needs.
6-- DLL pending.
 
will this mod work with "cruelgar's huge earth" or any other premade earth map? because so far it has crashed. but this may be due to smth i did wrong with installation
