Stapel
FIAT 850 coupé
I couldn't care less.
You can see their start date is the same month - that tells you if a poster is new.Originally posted by a space oddity
One thing I like about the post count is that you can see wether a post is by someone making his/her first post. There's always somebody welcoming such a poster. It's a nice tradition that will disappear when you can't see whether it's their first or 10,000th post.

How about 300? I want my custom avatar.
EDIT: Or can you just disable my personal post count? So it can be at, say, 300 and never grow past that no matter how many posts I make?
oh but your postcount is smallOriginally posted by Wizard
BTW, I would rather have a hidden postcount for all, because it's weird but everytime I see someone with a higher postcount my one seems so small...I've tried to get rid of the feeling, but I can't...!

Or keep the 300 requirement, but hide the post counts so no one can see how many anyone else has.
Not that I care. I never even paid much attention to post count back when we couldn't even have custom avatars, and which avatar we had depended entirely on our post count. I didn't think it was important then, so it's even less so now.
Which would partially explain why I've been here nearly three years and have only just reached 900 posts. I can't seem to bother posting something when I just don't have anything to say. If I cared about post count, I'd probably spam now and then just to raise it up. That's why I think it's good that I don't pay any attention to it.

Why not? It's one of the few sub-forums that I actually post on
Is there any reason for this?

I dont care much for post counts, however it would be great (for me at least) if custom avatars were available to members based on a minimum length of membership rather than post count.
