EltNES: THIS World is Yours

The Moderator awards 2d4 points, and the players vote to award on the best on the previous update to award 1+1d4 points.

Subjective awarding of points couched in a popularity contest. :p

But we'll let Eltain decide, it's his nes after all!

@ Eltain: I know this is a little late but maybe next time you do an NES like this, for late comers, you can give them 3 bonus points for every turn they missed to a maximum of 15 bonus points. It isn't too much and it helps them a little. Still better to play right from the start but it means that late comers don't get a total chop off. They would also get normal first turn points on top of that. Seems like alot, but if someone was banking his points for less turns, they would have more to use still. Late comers = just joined.

Question: Who was it that asked if gold would be considered metal or if it would have its own icon? I've changed my mind, I'm going to make a gold icon as well.

Gem Hound: Yo momma!

Terris: Where was the gold that you wanted to place? If you placed metal instead in that spot, I can change it.

15 points: Boundless

I2: Whales (? Points)
J4: Metal (5 Points)
I4: Chocobo (? Points)
H4: Tar/Pitch (? Points)

Boundless: Could you give me a description of Chocobo? Also what function Tar/Pitch would have in-game.

You seriously have no idea what a Chocobo is?!?!
538_5.jpg

Essentially think a large, ridable bird. Be it an ostrich or Emu or similar species.

Tar/Pitch is essentially medieval oil.. so fuel, weaponry, waterproofing boats.. it is an economic resource with a zillion applications.

Moa would be the closest thing we have irl to chocobo.

Yes, they were pretty big.

Large, sturdy, flightless avian mount then. Okay. Could you get a name other than Chocobo, though?

Only military resources (and food) are being placed on the map, because they are the only ones which affect "gamey" mechanic. What military applications does it have? Flaming projectiles, +to siege and withstanding sieges?

I say go with Moa. >_> Perfectly acceptable name.

Sorry about no orders last turn. The week got away from me.

nutranurse: Sorry, I started writing my post before you posted, then left the computer for a good long while there. Those pictures actually helped more than Boundless'. Moa is the name I will go with. Obviously different languages have different names for them, but... Moa.

Boundless: You've spent too much. Whale costs the same as Fish (and has the same icon), Moa the same as Horses, and I'm gonna say Pitch is 5 points. I am pleased that you listed your points :)

Moldath: I love you. This is the type of selfless spending I really like. BONUS FOR U.

General Olaf: IT IS SO.

Lord of Elves: Grain, then, cause Moa b 2 expansieve

Tertiary thoughts: Boundless, you have until midnight EST to make your changes/selections/what have you, at which point if you have not (you're just not online is all) I'll just buy the Moa, Metal and Tar. (15 points)
