Roman Republic
The land bridge in the Sicilian invasion was a total mistake. The Greek moved their navy to Sicily and stopped the build up.
But Rome was not out of ideas…


Roman senate

The senate was in discussion.
They didn’t know the ship bridge. Many senators believed that there would be an attack after Rome and Greece has a northern border.
Many felt cheated by the army, and especially by Caesar.
But he has joined the senate this time.

Hearing the debate he raised his hand to talk.
Old senator, Romilius: “Yes Caesar, what you wish to add?”
First legatos, Caesar: “The unsuccefull attack in Sicily will not happened again. But we must try the attack again! We must! We can’t let the Greeks think the sea is theirs!”
High senator, Cornelius: “The sea is their Caesar. We cannot take it from their bigger navy… we just can’t, and they know it.”
First legatos, Caesar: “Ha! You are not a roman if that what you think! Rome is better than Greece and you must understand it! We must try the sea bridge again! And I have a plan that cannot fail!”
High senator, Cornelius: “ What you are doing hear anyway? Aren’t you supposed to be with the armies? The senate choose what to do, not you! So stop your blabbering, we have a vote to take.”
First legatos, Caesar: “Yes, let’s see what the vote will say”, While saying this Caesar raised his sword and hurried to put it near Cornelius head, “You see, just how easy I can kill you when my sword is near your hand, what will you vote? For Caesar or against?”
High senator, Cornelius: “With your sword on my neck I know you cannot kill me, and if you will kill me, you will be killed yourself. I will still vote against you.”
In the second Cornelius said no, the sword moved in the air. Cornelius head was on the floor.
First legatos, Caesar: “Yes, if Greece will not respect our claims when our sword is on their neck, they will be destroyed.”

Those were the faces of alexander, his armys defeated, his navy tricked, greece was on the hands of rome, perhaps it was time to get used to the idea of defeat and and roman rule, the homeland invaded, our gaulic allies pushed back..... there was no hope, we would ask the phoenicians, but they didnt cared to halp us, noone would, it was time to ask peace, and perhaps lose all colonies, in egypt, north greece and sicily........ we had no otehr choise.......

As the colonization of Scotland was completed, military scouts noticed that the Anglo-Saxons had landed in Norway. In Leif the Bars council many voices argued for pushing them out by force.
"The Anglo-Saxon messenger could drink you under the table, Björn the Drunk, and that is proof that they are a decent people." Leif calmly said. Everyone agreed. "But i do think we should limit their presence there by setteling it ourselves as soon as possible" Once again all agreed.

Rumors had it of a distant island with many hot springs and wonderful glaciers. A word popped up in Leif the Bears head, "Eco-Tourism"

Anyways, back to the story.

The next few years were a very busy time for China. A powerfull empire to the Southwest named Kushan had appeared and established contact. To the North, the Mongolian charter locked the alliance between China and Mongolia who promised military cooperation and future trade routes. Even farther North, the Mongols were reporting strange battles between barbarian clans, that nobody seemed to have the answer to. Expansion to the South had gone splendidly and Chinese troops were halway to the "Indian Ocean", and the colonies were flourishing. In China itself, the economy was getting slightly better. And to the East... those pesky Koreans were starting to fortify their borders. The emperor knew the time had come to decide what to do about all of these issues...

Emperor AAminion00 was at a loss. He had never heard of the state called Kushan. But he knew it was a powerful state. Emperor AAminion00 didn't want an enemy in Asia (Besides those god damned Koreans). In fact, he hoped it would turn out like Mongolia. He decided to send an emissary to Kushan and establish healthy relations. The emissary was to ask for an exchange of ambassadors, and a non-agressionon-pact. The emissary was also to carry some gifts to their ruler.

Barbarian Activity

Barbarians in the land North of Mongolia, known as Siberia, were acting very strangly. Battles everywhere. Perhaps China could somehow turn this to their advantage. The Emperor ordered imperial scouts to arm themselves and head into Siberia to find out exactly what was going on.

Southward Expansion

Chinese troops were expanding Southward at an astonishing pace. This was great news as more and more resources and land became part of the Chinese Empire. However Southward Expansion would have to be halted thanks to another more pressing issue....

The Second Korean War?

The Koreans were building fortifications on their border. They were excpecting war. And rightfully so! All these years, Korea was merely a thorn in China's side. The "country" was too small and in too much of a bad position to ever become an empire, yet it was too stubborn and strong to join China. And then they dare set up fortifications and threaten war because of China's expansion into lands that belonged to them? The fools! The time of a stupid little independent state poking China in the back was through. The Second Korean War was to begin, and this time the results would be very different.

The Chinese Army was already larger. Coupled with Mongolian support, the Chinese-Mongolian forces were a giant whereas the little Korean warriors were the lowest of dwarfs. Granted their navy was bigger, but this hardly matter. This wasn't going to be a naval war. This was going to be a war on land. And even if the Koreans tried something funny, if certain precautions were taken nothing would happen. The Emperor sent the following diplomatic notes in secret:
