Enhanced Air Warfare 4VP

How is the AI taking advantage of these units? Any data?
I don't know what kind of data you are expecting.

Because new Units share the same CombatClass than the regular ones, because Unit_Flavors and Technology_Flavors are adjusted with great precision, yes AI takes advantage of these units.
I didn't release the first alpha before hundreds hours of test and I hate modmods that ignore the capacity of the AI to deal properly with features.

does this have to run before or after more unique components in terms of load order or does it not matter?
 
yeah enhanced air warfare seems to load after a lot of other mods no matter what I do. Is that on purpose?
 
It will when I do compatibility patch in POfVP :)

Current state before version 1

Compatible with VP(4-17) and (6-19)

Code:
- Units renamed.
- P-80 Promotion redesigned.
- Mercenaries get Light Air Cover Promotion.
- Civilopedia almost over (Please report typos or any type of errors)
- Reskins and scales polished.

The new names given to Air Units are now more focus on gameplay rather than realism.
As the Air Units become more powerful, names sound like more powerful as well.

The Mercenaries Unit, available with Order, get a light Promotion against Air Units to balance with the new B-52 and MiG-29 (with Freedom and Autocracy)

No savegame compatible.

I can't wait to share with you the Strategic Bomber reskin I just made (A difficult one)
It will be in the next version release.
To have it now, copy the content of StrategicBomber_NewSkin.7z in \MODS\Enhanced Air Warfare 4VP (V. alpha_3.5)\models\strBomb

Just found this one out and was taking a look. My quick and dirty assessment on the names:

1) I agree that Early Monoplane should just be Monoplane. Simple and easy.

2) The fact that the Stealth Bomber is the apex of bombers, but Stealth Fighters are not the apex of fighters....I found that quite confusing when I looked over the units.

Humm I see. I'll think about that.

However, in ENW and EAW, "advanced" is use to describe the ultimate Unit (Destroyer and Fighter)
 
Maybe "joint strike fighter", rather than stealth fighter? The JSF program is designed to replace everything except the dedicated dogfighting role of the F-22 raptor

So why not “advanced bomber” instead of stealth bomber then
Because Stealth Bomber is stealth!

I don't really plan to change planes' name in Version 1.0 (in 2 weeks maybe)
A few new design / features in Ver 2.0 will allow me to rename Info Era's planes. Maybe.
