It is a sad thing that has happened with the ebola. Many have died, and more will follow. And now we find that you were researching these weapons, and a good thing, now you can use your knowledge to cure the victims, and prevent more death. BUT, security, as we all know can be a tricky thing. You thought none of it was unleashed on the world, but how can everyone be sure? We ask that you submit yourself to a global investigative task force.
To the World:
Who among us will investigate the French? We volunteer our scientists to do so. But this shouldnt be one nation doing it, and we must all agree on the participants. Maybe everyone can give a little, just to be sure.

Like the horrors of the ancient Plague, and like the BN1 virus, the super-Ebola plague has struck hard at all of Eurasia, at Russia, perhaps the most. Because that the newly elected government was wiped out by the plague, apart from a lucky few and ATDI was thrown into disarray, allowing the mastermind behind this all, whoever he was, to rejoice. And its effects didnt end with horrible civilian and military causalities, it also struck at economy of the world, and no nation was able to give funds to help another one all needed their own help.
The nation was thrown into anarchy, but after a month it mostly ended, with the emergency government and with the practically reestablished Martial Law.
The plague has ended, but it already did much. The priests in the churches surprisingly didnt blame the Nostradamist and SoP heathens, but say that it was the approach of the doomsday, and the sinners that didnt repent were killed and taken to hell. They claimed the same would soon come to the Americas, and then the governments everywhere would collapse, and the doomsday shall come. They, as a rather atheistic vice-president Roman Vitcheslav thought, had a pretty scary theory here. But doomsday or not, it was bad enough anyway.
The good news for ATDI were that the navy and air force, due to security and efficiency of the later, and mostly being at sea and almost not being reached by the plague due to quick quarantine of the former, were practically not hit, apart from moral. But since the official word was still aimed at the SoP and for a good reason -, all of the military felt a certain lust for revenge, and it was now not out of either fear or conscience, it was a matter of honor and pride like to ancient warriors for them to go and fight despite the peace promised in Copenhagen. Fight to destroy the evil menace that has taken their relatives and friends. True, not all took it to that extreme, but all the bad effects on the moral were reversed. The military commanders knew that their men would fight much better thus, though some feared they might disobey orders. So it was overall uncertain, but everyone in the military and the government agreed, that the war with the SoP had to go on as planned, if not more extreme.
Orders:
- Spend 1 WC on getting the economical restoration works off the ground.
- Increase population by 12500 (-5 WC)
- Raise 5000 Mech. Infantry (-2 WC)
- Raise 200 Commandos (-2 WC)
- Raise 30 Jet Fighters (-1 WC)
No money left.
OOC: Will the economy damage last forever or for a long time? Or would it be rebuilt in several turns?

We understand that you were driven to desperation, just like were the Vikings in that time. We are glad that you have cancelled and destroyed the project, and are glad that you have a vaccine. A shame is that it would be too late for most. We also suspect that the ever-present SoP could have stolen the research data from you.

We demand that all the nations that currently are in the state of war immediately declare peace and join ATDI. First of all, it is likely that the SoP are involved, and secondly, even if not, ATDI is to stop terrorism, not just the SoP. We must all join forces and avenge those who have died - and stop another such strike.

how exactly could that make a game slow? IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE A 5 MINUTE UPDATE. All you have to do is change a couple numbers and pretend you edited the map...
