When I install mods like "Queen of the Iceny" or "Historic city states", the new civ/states got a name/text issue.

Their name's are ingame shown as like "Text_Key_Civ_Celts" or something like that.

Also the celtic unique units are named like "text_key_unit_blablabla"

Anybody else got that problem?

so you are running civ5 in english. Is your machine locally in english too or another language?

its fine here, though it sounds like it could be a support question, since the mod does work perfectly fine for almost everyone.

I believe it does.

I think Kael went the TXT_ route with Queen of the Iceni, which is generally used for localizations as each language has its own XML section. However, if you go that way and only specify text for en_US, the other localizations will just get the empty TXT string. That's what you're getting.

The problem's with the mods, not with your installation.

In my humble opinion, modders shouldn't go down the TXT strings road (with language differentiation) unless they're willing to properly localize their mods.

the only solution is probably to setup civ to run in english, or add the text tags yourself.
