Anyway, I'd now like to point out how I hate it when the Pope is controlled by a player. It gives them too much influence.
I agree with AA. If we have an NPC'd Pope we could have much more fun with it. A lot of things wouldn't be able if a player was Pope just because it would be to OP.AA's got a point there... And, to be honest, you're kind of a.... unstable player, Christos. I'd like you more if you actually went with your Byzantines this time.
I was honestly thinking of having the Papal states a perma-npc as I finished the rules up.Plus, then I can add EU3's papal controller mechanic into this and we can have tons of fun with crusades!
Why do you want to be the Pope so bad? If you play it then you won't be able to do things we can't but if you aren't playing as the Pope we could have a lot more Papal features making the game even more interesting.Christos200 said:I want to be the pope.
I have a feeling that crusaders won't be that of an issue once the Old and New world make contactI don't think those of us in the Americas would find crusades fun.
But why?No. I want to be the pope. Or the anti-pope. Or something like that.
I didn't know EUIII had Darkspawn.
