The Great King Dietrick lay dead. For nearly 60 years he had ruled over the collective germanic people and lead them out of the shadow of the former Roman Empire. A great state funeral was held where all the aristocrats attended to pay their respects to their first king. All across the Kingdom candlelight vigils were held in the cities, villages and countryside, mainly by commoners as he was dearly beloved by them. Immediatly following the burial of his uncle, the young King Heinrich vowed to complete the job that his uncle did not, that being to unite the germanic people under one ruler. He would expand his army to accomplish this task, while using subtle diplomacy to get his way.
To All Germanic tribes: We are of the opinion that all of Germany should be united under one ruler. As we are a strong and hardy people we would be one of Europe's most powerful toghether. We offer a union between us all with all aristocrats keeping their land and being given a free hand for all landowners to accuire new territory under the protection of the Germanic King's army.
Orders: Grow economy by sending the merchents of the Kingdom out among central europe

@ Amon Savag: ok, got it. But if you don't know Wessex and the Anglo-Saxons are basically one and the same. Wessex is just the most powerful of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, as the Anglo Saxons are merely a loose confederation of 9 such small kingdoms occupying the land South of Northumberland.

Sorry, but to have a state come up not only 200 years earlier than it did in history, but 50+ years before it's religion even appeared, is a bit too much, and doesn't go with the realistic nature of this mod.
However, I hope you'll still be in the NES. While I'd like to keep the Sassanids and NPC, and possibly Hungary too, there are many nations still open.
Visigoths, Poles, Austrians, Mediterranean Kingdom, and any one of the Italian states, are just some that come to mind

The Visigoths to the North of you had conducted raids against the Andorrans in the past years, and in response, King Guillem Aranu de Patau led his army against the raiders in which he slaughtered the Visigoths and your father, Almarich I.
You take over a large remmant of his loosely built kingdom, mainly the area that has historically belonged to your family.
As of now, you can build footmen (basic dark-age infantry with spears and shields) and horsemen (essentially mounted footmen). You can also build swordsmen but your people aren't well known for the craft and therefore aren't as good as the Burgundian Swordsmen, currently under the banner of France.

The Visigoth King is unhappy of the should be empire he is a war monger and wants to control all of Europe. The problem our men are poorly trained fighters pulled away from their plows what we must do is to train like crazy. and expand.
