Europe, 560, A.D.
"The big super gigantic all bunch of stuff happened in the meanwhile and things now get a bit complicated for a little while update"
The Gothic culture is raised because a man named Jordanes writes down their history. The Pope congratulated Dietrick I, however, Germany doesn't expand any more, their ruler seemingly losing interest in the affairs of his country. Later that year, Dietrick died and was replaced by his nephew Heinrich.
Speaking of the Pope, Felix fell gravely ill and died in the middle of the decade. The new Pope is Pelagius, who is a bit more agressive in spreading Christianity than his predecessor. He succeeds in making Charle's Mediterranean Kingdom fully accept Roman Catholocism, and become a key ally of the church.
In Norway, people encounter many mountains to the North and decided instead to expand Southward. They make considerable gains but meet a prominent tribe called the Danes who hold them off near the Southernmost tip of Scandanavia. Ragnar Savag the Ironfist begins to rapidly increase his army. Scouts say that from now on, expansion into Scandanavia would be much tougher than it had been in earlier years. The people also grow increasingly Catholic, prompting Pope Pegalius to ask to establish a mission in Oslo yet again.
In Britian, a great road is built from the Northernmost border to the Anglo-Saxon one. Trade is greatly stimulated. The army is split into two sections and guard both borders. Still however, the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and the Scots are growing more and more restless. To make matters worse, a mass migration of Celts from Ireland to Scotland has more than doubled Scotland's populations. Many are calling for King Alfred III to take over Scotland before it's too late. Tensions are at an all-time high.
For a bit of good news however, St. Alfred's Abby is completed and becomes the most beutiful building in all of Britian, and perhaps the world.
In the young kingdom of Russia, Ivan III becomes the first ruler of the Slavs. He quickly signs an alliance with his Estonian friends, making Estonia one of the most powerful nations in the world. Russia's land becomes very busy as the Russian people build a centralised road system and make great expansions. Hunting and farming are plentiful, and the people are sattisfied.
In France, Childebert I completes the Salic law, greatly helping his young country. Sadly however, he dies not long afterwards, living just long enough to see the positive effects his efforts have had. Unrest and crime are high, so the economy was at first down. However, once the army began being used to bring down the number of bandits in the country, the economy slowly reached it's former level, and eventually even surpassed it as merchants safely crisscrossed France's many roads. For the first few years, there was confusion over who would lead the French kingdom. However a youth called Guntram quickly seized the opportunity and gained the lands around Burgundy and Orléans. The area Norht of Paris was temporarily lost, however the military savvy ruler not only took it back, but acquiered new territory near the town of Orleans. Paris is getting to be very cramped, and the people are asking Guntram to upgrade the village of Orleans into a city (2 economy levels).
In Finland, nobles eagerly await King Maati's reaction to the new state of Russia to the East. This doesn't limit Finnish expansion which greatly increases the country's size. The economy is also boosted, thanks to more roads. Finland is one of the easiest countries to travel in the world. The people grow happy, and their mood is only made better by the appearance of the Royal Knights, a powerful offensive juggernaut that determindly patrol the Finnish lands. To make things better still, the Great Cathedral of Helinski will be completed by the end of the next decade.
In Constantinople, the expansion monument is finally finished, greatly helping their cause. Knowing they have the support of the population, Byzantine troops quickly conquer most all of Greece and the surrounding Isladns. The Cataphract makes it's first appearance in history, and dominates the steppes to the East of Constantinople. Many Byzantines are asking for Constantine to expand Eastward. However, Constantine dies that very year, and is replaced by the brilliant strategist Justinian. Justinian immediatly trains 500 Cataphracts, who are as of now the most powerful soldiers in all of Europe.
More good news for the Byzantines. A trader from afar brings Silk Worms in from a land named "China". Justinian is puzzled, but interested as well. Many ask for Justinian to find out just where this land of "China" is.
In Andorra, Guillem Arnau de Patau dies and is replaced by his son Guillem II. The young Guillam decides to focus on internal affairs and watches as the workforce in his nation nearly dobles in size. With the new man power, he orders construction of a new wonder, the Cathedral of Andorra. Pope Pelagius is delighted and makes Guillem Arnau de Patau the first Andorran Saint, allowing for the new Cathedral to be dedicated to him.
With this, the landscape of Europe is completely different than it was 60 years ago when these countries first started.

Diplomacy
From Pope Pegalius
To Ragnar Savag of Norway
We ask that you let us establish a mission in Oslo. You rejected us earlier, and still your people are starting to accept Christianity more and more. What have you to lose by allowing us to enter Oslo's city walls?
From Pope Pegalius
To King Guillem II of Andorra
We grant your father the status of sainthood so that you have someone to dedicate your most grand Cathedral to. We'd also ask that you pursue your conquest of the Pagan Visigoths.
From Pope Pegalius
To King Guntram of Greater France
We felt it our duty to tell you that the mother of the late Childebert, Clotilda, is now a saint.
