Update, 710 A.D.
Throughout the Mediterranean, the Byzantines orginize their empire into various provinces, while expanding into further territories along the way. They manage to establish colonies in some distant idlands in the Atlantic by passing through Gibraltar, buta re in competition with the Wallonians to gain the rest of the island chain.
Two others important pieces of news regarding the Byzantines. The first is the signing of peace with France, giving the Byzantines their largest amoutn of territory ever. The second is the establishment of the Bulgars as a seperate Slavic tribe.
In Andorra, Guillem IV takes power and raises the army. Establishing healthy relations with the Visigoths to the South, they split the remaining unoccupied land between them.
The Russians and Byzantines sign an agreement between them regarding possible future expansion conflicts. The Russain people are happy about this, and life in Russia in general. However, various barbarian tribes have come up all around them.
Civil War in England! The king of Northumberland decides to give all his land to his old allies of Norway, causing massive riots throughout the land. In the South, England happily accpets the rule of the Norwegians, but the situation in the North is very different. There, some prominent Scottish nobles have established their own kingdom and stubbornly resist Norwegian occupation.
In Estonia, increased pressure from Norway and Poland have resulted in massive losses for the Estonians. However, by the time they get to the capital, what do they see? The Finnish have crossed the border and fortified all of Estonia they could before the Norwegians got to it. Poland and Norway face the bulk of the army of one of the most powerful nations in the world. The Finnish on the other hand, face the mighty kriegers, who appear in battle for the first time in history.
In Austria, the war between Germany and the newly renamed Austro-Hungarian empire keeps going. The Germans try to storm Vienna and take it, but a recent surge in loyalty to the "Austro-Hungarian" empire has resulted in increased defense by the Austrians. Together with German reinforcements, the city holds on at great loss to German life. The Austrians have also put to use their allies, the Serbs, whose horse archers (along with the Hungarian knights) managed to put together several efficient counter-strikes. However, in the greater picture the Germans have managed to encircle the entire city. Not only that, but a German raiding party of 40 knights managed to slaughter several caravans of workers heading towards Pest to work on the Hungarian wonder, resulting in no increase in the wonder's status.
