Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of an epic war
That started from this very land,
In this very city.
The king was a mighty ruling lord,
The knights brave and sure,
two thousand warriors set afoot that day
For a short, decisive war.
A short, decisive war.
Their enemies started getting ready,
The very ground shook.
If not for the courage of the fearless king,
All would be lost.
All would be lost.
The swords crashed on the skirts of this
great Roman city.
With Guillem, the lords too,
The warriors and their steeds,
A cowardly Goth and the rest.
All here in "Guillem's Battle"!
So this is the tale of the armies,
They're here for a bloody battle
They'll have to make the best of things,
It's an uphill climb.
The king and his lords too,
Will do their very best,
To kill the other guys,
From their forward command.
No sleep! No rest! No refuge!
For the enemies of that King,
Like Ulysses, it's epic as can be.
So join me here as I recount a tale,
You're sure to learn a lesson,
From many brave warriors,
Here in "Guillem's Battle!"
