I finally got around to making a version of my European Union map with all 25 countries on it. So here it is! *NOTE* C3C only

No. The reason for this is Norway is out of the picture. If norway was in this map it would look as Scandinavia is over Denmark. Nice map! :goodjob:

Interesting
But ishouldnt scandinavia bue above denmark?

The map only includes members of the European Union. Norway is not a member. Sweden is a member, but they are northeast of Denmark, which is why Scandianavia isn't above Denmark in the map.

Looks like a very nice map. And my home country Finland looks good too! ;) It's funny to have that lake in the place of Switzerland, but what can u do, they are not part of EU. Good work!

Looks great - should be a fun map to play. OK - now some tongue in cheek political commentary. I think you should take France and Denmark out as well as they have rejected the proposed EU Constitution. There now - that should get somebody riled up.

On second thought - it's great what they've done. They've managed to plunge the Euro down 20% - which means my trip to Rome will be so much better now!

Sedordante: I really hope that was a joke.

The EU Constitution (actually not a constitution itself, but a constitutional agreement) is iced for now. European union without France is like a GOTM forum without threads. Denmark is an old and important member as well. I myself, wouldn't hesitate voting for the Constitution.

Since the german people are also against the EU constitution, but have never been asked about it, should they be counted out too?...

Just wanted to hear your oppinion on the subject...

Personally I think the map looks funny being how all none EU countries are missing... it's a whole now way of looking at Europe :goodjob:

I think that Holland is a little bigger than the Peloponnese (where Sparta and Corinth were) but has almost double the population of Greece (around 20 million as opposed to little over 11 million)

If Norway were in this map, it wouldn't look as if Finland and Sweden represented some usually-hidden parts of male anatomy (a problem also shared by 1 Euro coins, incidentally).

Varwnos is right. It was Holland that rejected the Constitution with France. Hehee.. I have noticed this "male anatomy problem" in 1 euro too!

The map looks good, but you forgot Ceuta and Melilla. (And Madeira and the Canarian Islands, but those probably wouldn't fit on the map.)

Speaking as a german with the right to vote I can only wonder who told you this. I certainly am PRO the EU consitution and not a single person I know about is really against it. So don't try to force your decision on your big southern neighbour! ;)

And did I mention that I think this map is great?

PS: The lake in Switzerland could just be the "lake of Geneva" 's big brother. ;)
