I got "delete" locked. That means, whenever I move the cursor to the left, stuff gets deleted. I tried all kinds of key combinations and googled, but allegedly, I can turn the lock off by pushing "Delete", yet, this doesn't do the trick.
Any help?
edit: I got it fixed by "Insert" (no idea what the actual abbreviation of that is on English keyboards)
Anyway, solved!
Actually, I already knew this. I think I just got confused by this lock light which just now caught my attention. I wonder what it is for...

Insert allows you to write over things without having to delete them. It's only a very trivial convienence to have but it can be a major PITA when it turns on accidentally. I have no idea why they still have it.

Your keyboard probably has some gunk or food or something under the Delete key that was stuck down. Pressing "Insert", which is above "Delete", probably dislodged the food bit and unstuck the key.

On the topic of useless keys, how about "SysRq"? All those function keys? I used them in WoW, but not since then....

Hello, IT, have you tried rebooting?
I don't know what SysRq does.
Obsolete now. It was intended for when PCs (pre XT) connected to mainframes. System-request or something like that.
