Even More Resources for Vox Populi (v 8)

Which map (or mods) do you use? If a mod does contain a custom AssignStartingPlots.lua (ASP), then there is a chance that EMR resources won't appear at all.
This mod relies on the ASP script that came with VP (or its derivatives).

Because it's weird that I usually got a bajillion of it since the placement is not balanced very well.
I don’t know if you saw my latest post but I’m using VP (EUI) more unique components, EMR, More wonders, UCS, CSL, Meaningful colors, Trade opportunities, and Civics and reform. I know you mentioned only one mod should contain the ASP. A search of my MODS folder reveals three separate ASP. All of which varies in size. There is the on contained within VP, one within UCS, and one within EMR. If there can only be one which one should go? @adan_eslavo
 
Hey, on VP 4.4.2 antic ruins don't appear when this mod is activated. Is there any way to fix it ?

Joining in. The Mod doesn't seem to work with v. 4.4.2, and even the unofficial 4.4.3 from GitHub. No Ancient ruins at all, and the map seems to miss a lot of resources (even after revealed by IGE + relevant techs). In summary - broken.

I used the build in post #204 together with the unique city states mod and it works for me with ancient ruins spawning and no resources missing. On the unofficial 4.4.3 version from github.

Are you using the latest UCS mod, or an earlier build?

Curious. I'll check if perhaps there's a conflict with another modmod.

Edit: It seems that Adan's City State Leaders is breaking EMR. Also, does it make sense EMR doesn't work without activating UCS? Anyway, as mentioned, City State Leaders is the culprit. Can anyone confirm? @Agiwan?

I play with VP. 4.2.3, Adan's EMR Version, latest UCS as well as latest Version of CSL and everything works fine for me. Ancient Ruins and Resources are spawning as usual.

Hi, my game crashes after enabling the mod together with UCS - both the newest 16.2 version, and the one you were using a few weeks ago. Any ideas what might be wrong? Changing to unofficial 4.4.3 patch didn't help. It crashes after enabling mods, and I don't know how to interpret the logs.
 
Ok, I found the culprit. Jarcast's Zimbabwe. EMR crashes with Zimbabwe, but works on its own. Zimbabwe works on its own, but crashes when with EMR. UCS has nothing to do with it, it would seem. Any idea what could be wrong? It's not super important, I can just disable Zimbabwe.
 
v11 edited strictly for the UCS v15.1. I borrowed all CS resources except Bird's Nest, and used them for non-mercantile CS in a unique way, so almost no loss, but a huge gain. Remember to download UCS v15.1 up!
I slightly modified this version so it is compatible with my Zimbabwe mod.
Nothing changes because I deleted some files related to a "feathers" resource that are not used by the mod in any way (they are a relic from the good ol' JFD's Exploration Continued Expanded mod used to make some of the resources of the EMR mod).

- Removed lines related to BUILDING_EE_TAVERN for Rice and Maize and moved it to Enlightenment Era for VP mod

Hi, another problem. When loaded with More Wonders the game crashes during mods loading. Any ideas? I thought it's to do with AssignStartingPlots.lua - which is used in both these mods, but removing this file from either of these mods doesn't help. Both mods work, when separated.

The latest versions of EMR contain no AssignStartingPlots.lua file (related changes were implemented in VP directly) and personally I manage to load both mods without problems, so probably the conflict is elsewhere.
 
You're right that EMR contains no AssignStartingPlots.lua - that's my mistake. Still unable to load it together with More Wonders - gonna make some tests, although I don't know what could cause it. The unofficial vp version doesn't work for me either - crashes on creating game. So I can't check EMR on it.
 
Ok, I had a feeling that EMR worked with More Wonders before your latest update - the one about zimbabwe. And it does - v11 works with More Wonders, at least it loads the game. Just still incompatible with Zimbabwe. Which is still strange, since you say that you can load v12 with More Wonders no problem.
