I don't understand the obsession with proving Genesis. It's clear mythology - after all, a supreme deity creates the world and all upon it, including man, fully-formed in just six days and then rests on the seventh day makes it holy. How could this be seen as anything other than an obvious Hebrew creation myth?

The stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph are "Clear Mythology?" I thought we discussed this, even non-believers think that might have happened.

The discussion about Genesis is interesting enough, but I am still waiting for "Evidence for Creationism". Remember, the title of the thread? You have presented one piece of written evidence, plus a bunch of twisting around other ideas to try to validate that one piece of evidence. How about a couple more pieces? The evolution side of the debate can produce thousands of pieces of evidence. Good stuff. Really. You should look at it some time.
