Excessive Underarm Sweating

I've been noticing a problem I have for about the past 1-2 years.

Everytime I take a shower, put on ANTIPERSPIRANT, and fresh clothes before school, by the time I get out of the car and go into school, the armpits of my shirts have already been stained with massive amounts of sweat, and this continues throughout the day and I usually always have huge armpit circles. I find it really embarrassing and I can't find a way to stop this from happening.

It doesn't matter what type of deodorant + antiperspirant I use, or how much I apply, it seems to do nothing to help.

I want this to stop!

I'm sick of looking around at other people not having this problem, and people telling me that I need to use antiperspirant..

Move to Alaska! Or Soviet Russia...

Foot powder - it holds 1000X it's weight in water. In Muay Thai we make all of the extra sweaty people where it.

Spoiler :
I sware I mean no disrespect to anyone when I say this - are you eastern european? Because most the Serbian and Russian guys in my gym sweat buckets .... it could be genetic

Nope, not eastern european.

(i may be only semi-easteuropean but)
Everytime i went to the gym i was always dry - but when i am very nervous and i'm in a small room i sweat a lot. :(

homeyg - if your sweat doesn't stink then wear darker coloured shirts. I don't think sweat marks can be spotted on black.

Speaking of armpit problems - if i'm hot and i'm sweating and i didn't use deodorant, my left armpit never smells - but my right one REEKS. It's possessed.

Every morning before i go to work, i do some slight workout, i don't sweat so much on the trip but on the train which is air conditioned, sweat will drip from my forehead. After i changed my shower to cold water, the problem diminished.

It's not the smell because the sweat doesn't smell (which is obviously the deodorant part of the stuff i use), it's just the embarrassment of having huge circles around my armpits..

No anti-depressants here.

Are you saying that a cold shower stopped your sweating?

Really, Homeyg. Talk to your doctor about Drysol.

Yeah I would like to go to a doctor about this, but I don't know if my parents would want to waste money on that.. They seem to think I don't have any problem.

Depending on your prescription plan, it may not be bad. $9 a bottle, and it lasts over a month. My brother's prescription plan (yeah, it's a genetic thing for sure) is only about $3/bottle.

I've heard that some people respond negatively to antiperspirants, meaning that they sweat more instead of less.. have you tried wearing just normal deodorant instead (not antiperspirant)? Might be worth a shot..

I have had this problem forever. It largely went away a bit when I stopped wearing anti-perspirant/deodorant, but I wouldn't recommend that if you want other people to enjoy your presence, as you will still stink even if you sweat less.

I sweat a lot too, but all over my body as opposed to just in my arm pits.

It's really annoying. When playing a sport or working out it runs into your eyes and it hurts like a frigging @#$%@!!

....:)
