Experiment 626's Solo TDG

They aren't so bad. The night before, you are on the can a lot, though...

Amen to that. But the worst part is over before you start. The day of mine I got cookies and soda afterward. :) My wife didn't get any after hers.:D

Hmm.

Reminds me of a fairly recent commercial.

"Honey, if you reshingle the roof I'll fix you a bagel."

"A bagel. Wow!"

And off he goes to get the ladder.

The rewards seem to be a bit lacking, considering the experience.

:crazyeye:

I was told that afterwards, and my friend drives me home, I can eat a little something, and then take a nap. Supposedly, I'll be able to drive the next day. I sure hope so, because I have to take Wed and Thu off to prepare for, and have the procedure. I have to work Friday.

I got a new Video card for my comp yesterday. I bought SimCity 4 Deluxe, and my old card (32 MB) couldn't keep up with it, so I bought a GeForce FX 5200 (256 MB) card, and the game works fine now. I'm not giving up on Civ3, (God forbid!), but friends told me that it's a great game. I can't figure it out, but I've just started.

Happy Holidays, everybody! :)

I just picked my prescriptions. The Laxative bottle is HUGE! :wow:

Oh well, 3 days and counting . . .

Edit: now I see that the game is ended :goodjob:
Are you going to start next one, but on higher difficulty level?

Maybe you can remember me, I was helping here too around half year ago :)

Hope all is going well MR. Pres, Sir!

Waiting for your great return! (But you may be busy for a while with the big ol' Lax bottle)!

Welcome back. Real Life prohibits me from playing the next game right now. Read the past couple of pages to get the lowdown.

I've taken the Laxative. It was nasty tasting, to say the least.

Let the fun begin! Wish me luck for tomorrow. Later!

You know, you could take the laptop in with you. :p

Hey! I never thought of that, Marsden. You oughta post that suggestion in "Short Tips & Tricks" or something.

now that's fanatacism... Civ during a colonoscopy...

Colon-oscopy..., isn't that just a different version of Colon-ize..., which would make it a new Victory Condition?

There are two things wrong with that suggestion:

  1. I don't own a laptop. Yeah, I know . . . I'm a freak.
  2. They gave me Demerol, and I was out like a light. I woke up 5 1/2 hours later in my own bed.

It appears that 1/3 of my colon is inflammed. The specialist prescribed 2 medications. Thank God that I've got Insurance. If I didn't, one of the prescriptions alone would have cost me $264.99 for a one month supply!

I'll find out more at the follow-up appointment on the 25th.

Congratulations, Stitch! You have won a Colonoscopic Victory!

You have been playing for 5 hrs 30 mins.

And all the other Civ leaders look angry, and tell you where to put your ...
... oh, never mind.

That wasn't exactly what I meant, but I'll stand by it.

On another note, I think I just got a Colonoscopic Victory last time I played yesterday. It sure seemed like a pain in the #%^@&$.

Glad to hear the testing is completed. I'd say it's also good news that your follow-up appointment is almost 2 weeks away BECAUSE if the doctors were worried, I think they'd have you back much faster than that. At least that's what I told myself when they kept me waiting so long last year, and it turned out to be the case.

Do let us know what they finally come up with. :)

Tomorrow's the day.

gmaharriet, you raise a valid point about the Doctor not getting in touch with me before now. I had the same thought myself. If something were wrong, they would have called, and hospitalized me already.

I'll post tomorrow when I get home.
