Fall from Heaven Wiki opened

thanks for the files guys, i'll start adding some over the next few days, as well as finishing off the wonders.
 
Today I trued to fing FFH Wiki page by seaching Wiki.
I was not able to. No "Fall from Haven", no "FFH", no "FFH2", no "CIVIV" or other civilisation variant find me FFH pages in Wiki.

Folk, you need to indexed them correctly, so all relivant searches find correct pages.
 
You know, "Wiki" is NOT wikipedia.com (or other country), but ANY wiki. It's kind of a content management system, not just one website (although as far as I'm aware they invented this user-based editing system).

Go look at the Civ4wiki rather. But of course a "civilization" search at wikipedia.com will give you a nice page of the series, too.
 
i fixed the Righteous Cause spell chart entry thing. it incorrrectly stated that it provides a crusader per unhappy citizen when it really provides one for ever unhappiness point in the city
 
Sorry, I did not realise that FFH wiki is not part of wikipedia, but a separate site.
That actually does not change the problem, butcause first I try to find it using standart search engines, and they return 0 hits on this keyworld.
Which indicate problem of correct keywords not specified on webpage.
 
Well, I just did a Google search for "ffh wiki" and the first result gave me what I needed...

What are you searching on?

By the way, Meta-tags aren't used by many search engines to drive their results algorithms. Probably because its easily exploitable.
 
also- 3 letter words are usually discarded by most search engines...
 
My point still stand. If you do not know befor where to find information about FFH you can not.

Search of FFH wiki you add your previous knilidge that there is Wiki for FFH.

For god sake, I am not asking where it is. I am informing that some one who does not know can not find it!
 
And we're just saying that we don't understand why you feel that way. (we don't understand your "point", as it were)

The first post of the main FfH II discussion thread in the creation and customization forum has a link to the wiki.
There is this thread devoted to it in the FfH II forum.
If you perform a simple online search for it, you will find it.

What else could possibly be done to let people know about it?

i think he wants us to spread advertisements or something...
to spread to the general public

A google search for 'fall from heaven' produces the main forum threads for FFH1 and FFH2 as the first two results.

Links to information about them are abound in the firsts posts, including a link to the FFH2 wiki in the FFH2 post.

The official page is also to be found within the first few results, and it contains shiny links to wiki and forum both.

If you don't know what the mod is called or what game it is for in the first place, sure, it's hard to find information about it - but that's true about anything on the internet!
 
Hey I can't ever get these links for this supposed FFH "wiki" to ever work - the pages just don't load. What server is this being hosted on? Something is amiss - the main links off the forum pages don't work, the links by snarko listed above don't work - nothing works.

I also think it's very confusing that this "wiki" is not part of Wikipedia and needs to be clarified somewhere. Someone help me out...
