Fall patch

They will adjust vote mechanism probably... hopefully (i don't really mind about Germany or Japan, because i never liked those two civ's ) and maybe they will allow caravans to defend themselves (some kind of escort or special unit which only purpose is to defended caravan for few turns). That's all i would like to see as far as i can tell. And try to improve combat AI,because its still terrible (although some people may not welcome this).

I'm hoping for more AI aggressiveness in World Congress affairs. At the moment it's too easy to control using your delegates and diplomats.
The AI should be out schmoozing with each other and the player more often so that the world Congress feels more dynamic and less of a tool for the human player to shape the game exactly to his or her liking

In addition, I'm hoping they bring back the AI actually giving the full 8 GPT for a luxury seen on some pre-release BNW videos that didn't make it into the released version.

THIS. It bothers me a lot that I have to receive 6gpt from a luxury that is actually worth 8gt... even then, there are some AIs that will offer 5gpt and only 6 if you change it. It took me a bit to realise they could give me 1gpt more. At least make it 7gpt :(

I've seen those threads and they largely seem to be from people who haven't invested much time in it, or simply want it buffed because its their favourite Civ.

It's a fine warmongering Civ.

Zeroes suck, Bushido was nerfed in G&K. Samurai is an average UU, so overall it isn't very fun & strong warmonger to play as when we have likes of Mongols, Huns & Zulus.

1. More aggression of AI civs in the World Congress.
2. Slight reduction in the amount of gold from trade routes.
3. Have more military civs be as good as other civs are in culture and religion
4. Have civs with good ancient and classical era UU actually use them effectively
5. Increase the contrast on the Scores popup (gray on gray doesn't cut it and remove the highlighting by turn, the notification on the bottom is all that's needed)

Other than that, I am enjoying the game immensely and I can't believe all of the stuff they added, which in my micromanaging ways increased the amount of information I have to process, as well as increase the decision-making. Lots of hard choices I've had to make and that's enjoyable. Now if they can just reduce the amount of pacification between nearly everyone...

I can agree with this. I love being able to wheel and deal behind the scenes when trying to buy leaders' votes, but it would only be fair that the AI could also be maneuvering in the shadows as well. If my diplomats are busy schmoozing England, the Zulus, and Siam, the proposing civilization's diplomats should also be working on convincing, the Shoshone, the Germans, and Brazil.

As things stand, it's a bit too easy to dominate every single vote, which is fun at first, but this would add a missing element of tension to World Congress vote-counting exercises.

As an amendment to the world congress, please do not let the opponents be bought so very easily at higher difficulties.

I don't think you can use that arguement for a Wonder, Great Firewall, International Space Stations and the Hubble Telescope are NOT even "buildings" per say. Civ 4 had Rock 'n' Roll which is more of an idea.

Great Firewall isn't even a thing - that one gets a pass as imagined.

Both the ISS and the Hubble are buildings, though. They're buildings in Space, but they're buildings.

Hollywood is a suburb, that happens to have a conglomeration of movie studios there. It's not even the most important collection of film studios anymore (http://www.businessweek.com//magazine/content/02_48/art02_48/a48tab37.gif - this data was from 2002, and things have gotten worse for Hollywood since)

There's literally no way, outside of the American marketing machine, that Hollywood could be considered a world wonder.

See also: Broadway (which isn't a world wonder either).

To be clear, I don't care if they add Hollywood as a wonder. I just object strongly to the idea that they have to.

Wait, which civs are getting overhauls?

Japan & Germany seems likely as per the podcast...

Hmm. Is Japan really that bad? I only really played them pre-GK but thought their UA was pretty beastly. The Zero was useless, though. Germany I always wanted overhauld so that's good. My want for an American overhaul has increased now since my mods don't work and I can't play my American Domination mod :(. Oh well.

Making forts (the kind workers make) that naval units can enter so that canals can be constructed would be nice. Basically the same thing that existed in Civ4 BTS.

Yup. Assyria proposed banning cotton on my last Immortal game.. and I was easily able to bribe him into voting against his own proposal.

Then, on the turn after his vote failed, he pops-up on my screen to excoriate me as the reason for his proposal failing. Filed in bright red under his new "Guarded" status was that I was behind his World Congress proposal's failure. I would've been annoyed.. if I wasn't laughing at the whole situation.
