The Holy Principality of Epirium

Settlers continue to follow the northern coastline eastward while two colonies of believers have found themselves on the other side of the continent. This was quickly remedied when the Patriarch ordered a railroad to be built eastwadrd to connect the two colonies. This railroad also functioned to claim the wilderness around it, with little towns popping up every 20 miles or so along the track.

Aww.. No war? Agreed. :) I will respect the fact that you want to play all strategic. Please claim 3 territories on my current continent, and 2 on the large northern one.

I'm just looking to get my empire established before I send my young men off to die. You'll get your war before this is over.

Under the Pyotr party, the army of Il'ich was slowly transformed. It had started as a defensive reserve army, but more and more funding was channeled into it. One day, without the any announcement or notification, one of the new, pro-Pyotr party generals left with about half of the army. He came back after almost a year with gold, slaves, and many other great riches. News spread that he had forcfully conquered the land surrounding the city-state of Il'ich. People were unsure how to react to this, but when Il'ich began to become wealthy as tributes poured in from their new subjects, they began to get used to the feeling of power. Before long, they were demanding more land. Just as the Pyotr leaders had hoped they would. This time, the new campaign focused on coastal regions who compteted with Il'ich for trade routes. They fell quickly and the Pyotr Republic became even more powerful.

Map updated. If claims seem to be short, it's because expansion cost was exceeded.

There are two border disputes between the Holy Principality of Epirium and Shahdom of Qapla':

Reports are filtering in of growing Marauder activity. Expect attacks next turn.

I know I didn't catch everyone's orders this update, but we're past the half-way mark and I want to pick up the pace. I regret to say that due to time constraints, I do not believe we will be able to test the battlefield simulation combat option.

Aww...

Game over, man.

It hasn't been the full 168 hours, but I don't think we'll have time for any further developments.

Well, I certainly hope this isn't a portent of things to come. Still, while we didn't get to try out half of what I was hoping for, there are a few things I can take away from all two game turns. So, thanks to everyone who took the time to help, however brief. I'll see you back in the dev thread.

So is IOT IV going to start, i think the problem here was no one was interested, IOT IV will be more interesting

In a couple of days, hopefully. I'm holding out for Virote and Joecoolyo; I've also got a few questions for the dev thread.
