Thank you, I try. I must admit it was easy to draw on canon, although I warped it to my ends. Plus way too much free time lets me work away.

I would suggest the Railroaders as an NPC in the Carolinas.

How many people are we waiting for/when do we start? I don't want to be pushy at all, and am perfectly willing to wait; I just want a general sense.

hmm, we have 6 people total, ill give it a few days, and see who else joins, it would be nice to have a few more for some more variety and so i don't have to come up with that many NPCs, so ill give it a few days as this is very new and a good chunk of the IOT regulars haven't joined yet, but i do have a few ideas for some NPCs but the game will probably start this weekend

Well, Europe and the Middle East went to war (talk of limited nuclear exchange and somebody set up Tel Aviv the bomb), then Europe had something amounting to a civil war, then the whole world went DEFCON 1.

sooner is better then later, but you can adjust and improve your military units as you gain tech over time.

also the more the merrier seriously if you can think of something remotely interesting id say use it, again you don't have to be restricted to just human nations.

Finaly pretty much what Thorvald said, the entire planet was pretty much destroyed so just go with it and use what you want for your history .

I went through the exact same thing when I decided to choose New England, when I saw that the Mojave was taken. If you want help making an nation I'd be more than happy to help. Or you can just roll with some Fallout canon and make a Midwest/Canada nation.

the book would allow for more information, and thus perhaps more bonuses at the begining however giving me a basic overview and the larger bits better could allow for some more "leveling up" and more spread out bonuses because of the perks. but its up to you, i honestly wouldnt like to have to sit for an hour to read your history

yah thats what i assumed when i made the current map, i have always hated it when i found an IOT a little later and i have to peace together a map myself to find out what has been taken, so i have decided that will update it as people start laying their claims.
