This will be my newspaper for DG VII. Because I'm already working in the Informant, this will be a kind of an editorial to Icmancin's newspaper. Respecting the rights of freedom of information and speech granted by our constitution, everything posted in this newspaper thread can be discussed.

The main reason I created this newspaper is the case that recently was brought to our Judiciary: did President Donovan Zoi commited an abuse of power? This will be the first thing to be discussed here. Feel free to comment anything and post your own comments. Every important thing that happens in the Government and in the game will be commented.

Judiciary, the Case Donovan Zoi (DG7CC1 - Donovan Zoi)

President Donovan Zoi was accused by Nobody of breaking the rules dictated by the Constitution and commited a power abuse. Nobody said that he ignored the instructions gave by Minister of Foreign Affairs Icmancin and did not give in to the persian demands. A Brief Comment by Civlord


The Judiciary did right when found this case to have no merit, because DZ was only expressing his opinion about what should be done with Persia. CG, the DP, could simply refuse to obey what DZ was saying. In the end, this was only his decision to refuse the persian demands. This case really is only an attempt of Nobody to destroy the power of the President. Nobody is well-known for his attempt of deposing president SaaM in DG VI, so this explains it all.

This will be all for now, tomorrow I will post a larger edition with more detailed news and more comments. I hope that every citizen of Fanatikos posts his opinions in this newspaper, so that we can have a more dynamic form of discussing Government actions and have a better way of expressing the will of the Assembly (composed by YOU, citizens) to the Government officials.

A great deal of talk has occured recently about building wonders in our the fair cities of Fanatikos. Although these projects would require a great deal of time and effort, the rewards definitely makeup for the resources put into these projects. If we can keep these faboulos structures standing for over a millenia, people will start visiting these places. They will become tourist attractions. We will get the money back, only centuries later. And not only will we rake in a profit, the cultural value will help our country rise to cultural prominence. So, even though there may be some more "urgent" needs for our nation right now, building wonders throughout our empire will be great for our country. We will move from simple and unimpressive temples and libraries, to awe inspiring Wonders of the World...
