Fantasy NES: Sekai

I meant aren't serious. Sorry about that. A little spelling error.

There's a fine line between "not being serious" and being stupid. I think you crossed it with this History Channel crap, but up until there it has been in perfect moderation. And even with the History Channel thing, its more a nomenclature problem than anything else. In any case, Goblins are the sort where they lick their lips and get into fights and are simply a dirty sort of race. Sure there are exceptions, especially in Sekai, but that style of posting works well. Though obviously there should be a serious element to it, as these events are actually happening and you are responding to them. Not taking the NES seriously is a whole other problem within itself.

Okay then. No more History Channel stuff.

And I do take this NES seriously. Just not all of my stories are very serious. They're still serious, just not too much.

I'll try to post better stories next time.

No no you misunderstood me. I said "that style of posting works well". Your stories are good because they show the personality of the Goblin quite nicely. Or rather, of the Glotrith goblin. I don't know where we would be without a goblin like that. We need those types of goblins. The NPC goblins of Glors, for example, try to "respect" themselves a bit more, but that makes them slightly less chaotic.

Speeking of Glors.... I noticed in your story that you mentioned "A dagger of immense magical properties..."

That reminds me of xogiz's claim to have magicical experaince. Only in this case, the ruling goblin actually has some kind of magic instead of lieing.

That is until I find a way for Xogiz to get his paws on that dagger.

You're an ambitious little green man. :D

You might want to think about how life is going to be for you after the war with Xal'Amul. You have dwarves to the north, dwarves to the south, and now two human kingdoms nearby as well.

You may need all the help you can get in terms of waging a war of words (and maybe eventually a hot war) against those realms. Amaliad is close, that is good. And then there is Glors. Do not take them for granted.

I have a couple plans for after the war is over. However, I will not reveal them yet.

Also, is Kodo going to take up residence in Xalas's Citadel like I offered him? Or is he going back to his lair after the war is over.

He'll go bye-bye.

Hey Guys, I'm thinking of joining with a guild but had a question.

also I'd like to speak with any human kingdoms/city-states over AIM: btal89

1. How do you guys get update on your stats. In other words how do I know what I have to spend and what I have.

Hi! Welcome to Sekai.

If you are a guild, you have a starting economy of anywhere from 100 to 300 economic points. This is determined by a random roll based on a six-sided die.

1/2 = 100
3/4 = 200
5/6 = 300

I just rolled a 4 for you, so you have a starting economy of 200. You start with absolutely nothing. You have to build from scratch off of that starting economy of 200. You will have a solid reinvestment rate of 5%. This can change via events that I post on updates, or certain guild improvements/techs in the near future. This means if you reinvest 100 gold, you will get 5 more gold the next turn (so economy of 205 the next turn).

If you join now, your starting turn will be Turn 4 (the turn we are on right now).

I am glad you are thinking about joining as a guild, as more of those are needed!

And so you know, I am still working on the higher-level guild techs. I know that a lot of them will include techs on specializing your forces (making them stronger), and also techs that allow you a special character or two in the future. The techs will mainly be designed so you can specialize your forces, though. You still won't be able to maintain that large of a military, but it will be elite.

I am also going to add Guild-specific improvements. We haven't had active guild players, so I have not added a lot of this stuff yet, but what exists is plenty for you to start with.

And this is assuming you are going the military guild route. I suppose all guilds have a military element, but you can be a trader's guild as well, reinvesting your money and gradually lending it to certain realms in exchange for other services (like, protection, or loan troops).

The possibilities are endless, really.

And again, welcome to Sekai.

Large empires are bloated and overextended; we can take them. ;)

EDIT:

Does Sekai even have electricity, much less a tv broadcast tower?

Use the palantir.
