I never found rush hour funny I always thought of the idea behind the movie was silly.

it's an new face on an old concept. White cop meets black cop, except with rush hour it's asian cop meets black cop. It's not that funny, but it's lightyears ahead of Fast and furious.

Rush Hour is funny because Jackie Chan uses unlikely objects as weapons... perhaps if F&F had more Jackie Chan in it would be good.

The first F&F was good to watch, the 2nd one was okay, and I have not even bothered to watch the 3rd on. But too call this the worst movie series ever is a big call. I would say that that honour should go to the Police Academy series. I ave no idea how they were able to make 8 movies and TV series out of it. Sure the first was one was great fun, but it went downhill from there, with only the first 3 being watchable and the rest just utter crap. Now that should go down as the worst ever movie series.
I kind of like the Police Academy movies...

I have a confession though, about 90% of the scene's I thought were ok in the F& the F, were actually from triple X
For instance

and a basejump in it, edit: not to mention some kick ass tune )
Which leaves me with agreeing sort of that the whole F&F was kinda crappy. Not terrible, just kinda crappy.

I noticed this was on last night and because of this thread I decided to at least give it a try. I had to stop about 5 minutes after he got to Japan. Oh my, angst-filled rebel teen likes to drive fast...ugh. I've only walked out of a couple of movies in the theatres in my life, but I can assure you this one would have made the third one to get up and walk out on.
