Favorite Civs in Warlords?

Ottomans I love, my two favorite traits and their UB sets them up perfectly for a SE. Jannisaries are also great fun.

The Spanish are great fun aswell; Spiritual is only slighly edged out by Organized and Expansive. Killer catapults are great fun.

I'm a big fan of Egypt(Hatty and Ram are both great) and Louis XIV. Louis is probably the best suited for a culture win. Creative for extra culture plus building wonders faster.

Many, actually. I think that most leaders can be good under the right circumstances. A lot depends on the way that you play too - it's interesting to see the different preferences and different reasons given, all completely respectable in their own right.

Among the best, though? In my personal opinion... Hannibal, Ragnar, Huayna Capac, Brennus, Elizabeth, Mansa Musa, and Ramesses II... just to name a few.

Brennus, Shaka and Gandhi for me

Brennus has the best trait combo, he's a warmongering monster, and he has fun new tactics with the UU and UB.

Shaka looks kinda mediocre on paper, but everything clicks together so perfectly to make him a terrifying whole package. Plus he has just about the best UU and UB in the game, he's fun, and he's SHAKA!

Gandhi has really good traits, he's the SE master, and his UU is very powerful. And it's fun being a brutal warmonger as Gandhi too.
