Favorite Sci-Fi Show

Babylon 5, of those I've seen. I haven't really followed any TV series at all in about five years, so I've never seen Firefly, or Farscape, or Battlestar Galactica. The few episodes of Stargate I saw way back when didn't impress me.

Congrats, you're the the first person I've seen that thinks the original Battlestar Galactica is anything but goofy. Have you seen the new one, or are you one of those boycotters?

Deep Space 9. By a wide margin.
Babylon 5 (the shadow arc only) is great as well - but the last season sucks.
SG-1 is ok; SGA boring.
Next Generation has great parts as well.

One of the best series ever is of course "Raumpatrouille Orion" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raumpatrouille) - but I bet tis is as unknown as UFO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFO_(TV_series)). :(

Galactica? How can anyone enjoy that? Ever seen the original ones? They're as horrible as 'Mork from Ork'!

Excellent I was going to mention UFO  ... the green and purple haired babes were a precursor to all the anime stuff ... loved the one shot interceptors and the submarine ... and the groovy cars with winged doors ...

Bab 5 ... best ever ... I really liked that he listened to fans' ideas

Space 1999 ... first Australian character as one of the Eagle Pilots (MOO3 used them as default ships)

Dr Who ... longest running (1963) television sci fi series

EDIT - and Firefly ... although how those idiot nerwork executives could broadcast the series in the wrong order and expect ratings I don't know :crazyeye:

Futurama and Dr who are my favourites.

Babylon 5 'till the end! I don't like much of other sci-fi series, they seems to be endless. But I really enjoyed Babylon 5. I loved how all the happenings changed things in space and realationships between characters changed during the show. Oh boy I really hope I can Season 2 on DVD by some day, they've subtitled onyl Season 1.

I've recenly got my hands on the last season and thus now have all 5! :D

Star Trek; nothing beats Spock and his comments! :p
I like the attitude and the comments of the EMH or "Doc" better
But Vulcan dry sarcasm can be hilarious, in that monotonous voice

We actually have enough people and money to make dubbing profitable. :p
Perhaps, but at least we have learned to read to make subtitles understandable for the whole population instead of just the college brats

I like the original because it is goofy. ;) There is nothing more funny than watching people tremble in fear of a clunky tin can that can barely walk.(I speak of the old Cylons)

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is my all time favorite
