Daftpanzer
canonically ambiguous
I wish to express the fact that I voted for Earth-based alt hist (tanks) some time ago, which I now see is the most popular choice. This makes me feel like less of a freak.
Thanks! Yes, I think I got away with pretty much ignoring all the minor nations in that NES! Though, one thing I've learned from 1936 NES is the need for a robust research/development system, regardless of how simplified things are. I totally failed in that department. I think some kind of spending to buy specific technologies should have been implemented, rather than abstract spending on tech.
Im pretty sure das has done this, or come close to it, with AFSNES, at least in the early-post-pre-NES era. I know I've got about 70 nations in DaftNES2 right now, many of which only require a moment or two of attention when it comes to updating.

Yes, it's a tried and true method for modern day NESes; it certainly has worked better than managing the stats for El Salvador and dealing with its domestic issues. All of that could be pretty fun, sure, but pretty irrelevant when compared to grand international politics.
