Feedback and working thread for the Articles Listing project

They'll be completedly acceptable, once reformatted as new thread-articles. ;)

What format are you after? My "Historical filth" pieces are all accumulations of several stories under a single linking theme.

Just added an article "A decision and a sentence that helped save America".

Done.

I finally finished my article on Te Kooti. It's not much but you might as well look, I need all the feedback I can get.

Looks good :goodjob: but like I said, pictures will make it look better. ;)

Will make it look like the type of articles you'll find in magazines. :)

i have articles on the assassins of alamut, the prusso-danish war of 1864, and the battle of lissa 1866 about 3/4 done-- if i can get off my butt and finish them:)

Well, get off your butt and get them done! :) :p

Remember to try to post some pix or maps or whatever too. ;)

For your reading and historical critiquing pleasure, I have posted a new article in the History Forum, The Truth That Killed: Georgi Markov.

I've divided the List by geographic regions (roughly). Pls tell me if you find any wrong linkages etc. ;)

I'm planning on writing an article on World War II in the Middle East (NOT North Africa, just everything west of India, East of the Mediterrenean, south of Russia). I think I have enough sources on this, but am open to suggestions or other sources I could use.

Considering that east Europe begins with the eastern border of Poland, I think you should make a C(entral) European category which will host anything concerning the Balkans, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, etc.

The geographic divisions are merely rough approximations - W and E refers more to the political divison of Europe during the Cold War.

Once we have more articles, will do just that, but for the time being...

So, keep writing. :whipped: :p

Just an update, I've gotten TF to post a news item on this on the CFC main page, so we may (or may not) have a few more people in here than usual. :)

Say, an article about religious cult activities of various civilisations throughout history is OK too, is it?

I would be interested in reading such an article.

Sure, just make just it's not an excuse for flaming and trolling certain civs... ;) Otherwise, anything goes. Within reason of course. :)
