Feedback and working thread for the Articles Listing project

Well we do our best :) One day I'll finish the one on Arnhem, but that will probably be 3 times as large  Mostly because that will be more of a day by day battle account thing :p

Hmm, I have a few ideas for articles but I'm not sure which to write about in my spare time. One idea was "The War in Gorazde: 1992-1996", while another would be a huge project that I don't want to disclose yet... I think I'll start up on the latter tonight. Hopefully I'll get it done in a week or so.

I must be ill. Another article posted, this time on myth and reality in the history of ancient Bahrain :)

Listed.

Then I must be sick to the bones, with more than 10 to my name. :p

Come Jul 15 and the History Articles List will be one year old.

Yet another article (my seventh one)!
The New Number Two on Mahmud of Ghazni.

Before you ask, yes, I currently have a lot of time on my hands.

I'm thinking of writing one called "Beg, Borrow, Steal: The story of how Israel armed itself" (though it will mostly concentrate on the twin elite arms of the Armoured forces and Air Force) and was wondering, it will be accepted even though it's modern history right? I don't often see much here that's post WWII specifically, so wanted to check it's alright before continuing :)

Modern history is OK, but methinks you should be careful that it's history and not military. Some people in this forum obviously don't see the difference.

Military history is not allowed? :hmm: I thought it was

It's not going to be a technical discussion on the things used but rather a story about how Israel formed it's early armoured units and air force... How they got them, what they did with them and how they turned themselves into the elite forces they became literally from scratch :)

Good enough. I like military history too. :goodjob:

I think anything prior to the 90s will be good for as a thread in this forum...
