Feud II

Background: The world looks like ours but is certainly not ours. This is the beginning of civilization! In the previous game, the players were simply members of the tribe. The game was decentralized and ran into many problems.

So, changes had to be made.
----------

Joining

All players begin the game as members of the upper class or "Aristocracy" if you will. All I need from you is a name. All players will be equally wealthy. Still a tribe of people (but that should be fixed quickly). The players are immortal but can be hurt, imprisoned, etc. First things first though, tell me where we should start on the map.

I will present a list of issues/stats at update (which are seasons). The Ruler (or rulers) are supposed to come up with solutions. Notably, players can PM me if there are actions they want to commit to during a turn. The game is, after all, about furthering yourself and your tribe. Maybe even in that order.

Drafting Orders

The most important part of the game are the orders. Every turn, I'll present a list of issues that must be handled. The players with the power to draft orders does so and doesn't have to get public approval before pushing through orders. However, other players may frown on this and act against it. As soon as the final orders are posted, the turn ends.

Bah. I can't wait. More players can join as the game goes on.

We're Blue!

OOC: Its imperiative that the players establish the governance system of the Tribe immediately. The Elder Chief will be the one who drafts the orders (though, he or she should certainly take advice from other players). Orders should be in the format below from "Legislative" to "Political".

Note, you can add actions as well. Don't just be reactive. Be proactive as well. Players, PM me if you want to your character to do something. This can be as simple as "start building a network of friends among Hunters" to "Kill Player". Though, the more detailed and rational you are, the better the chance of success….

Legislative

1. The Tribe's Elder Chief has died. A system of succession hasn't been set up so it's up to players to select a new leader and, if need be, a new system. At this moment, the Elder Chief position holds absolute power.

2. The Tribe doesn't have a name yet. Creating one will give the people some sense of identity.

Foreign

1. There are four tribes in different directions.

Military

1. The Tribe's "military" consists of all the hunters in the Tribe. The Elder Chief had a small group of elite bodyguards. Now that the Chief is dead, the fate of these bodyguards (and their name) is to be decided.

Intelligence

1. None to report.

Internal

1. Food was mysteriously wasted this season. Shouldn't happen again. Right?

Science and Innovation

1. A group of men and women gatherers are talking about "agriculture". The idea would be that instead of hunting, the people would plant crops to raise food. The conservative hunters of the Tribe (20% of the population), are against the idea calling it "womanly".

Political

1. A new system of rule needs to be established.

------------
Economics/Budget/Stats

All groups within the Tribe have a 50% approval rating of the government for now.

The economy is hunter-gatherer

Budget Figures

Foreign

1. Nothing to report.

Economics

Total Population: 77 (growing 100 per turn)
Manpower: 24 (Grows 4 per turn)
Available Manpower: 0
Unemployment: 0

Food: 100 (100 food per turn)
+100 from 20 hunters.
-77 from population
-4 from bodyguards
No Food preservation=19 food wasted

No Taxes yet. All resources are pooled.

Intelligence

1. None to report.

Military:

Hunters: 20 (Feeds self)
Bodyguards: 4 (Is costing four food per turn)

Science and Education and Innovation

1. Farming enabled.

In any case, as soon as I get five players, I'm starting the game.

So its like mafia but without predefined teams, and we can rule countries and stuff? Also, do we have a map?

Yes and no. All players are part of the same country/ruling class. While players don't age, they can be killed. Which should keep things interesting.

So political factions instead of countries, and power struggles instead of wars.

Inserting Maxa into Feud II.
