Today's Events​

There was a fire. And it was huge. We're not pointing any fingers here...but the town is happy to say that everyone took part in putting out the fire

Today, the man named Simon helped vigorously to put the fire out. His job was to drag buckets of water from the river and back, over and over again. As a result, Simon has gained 2 Strength.

The unlucky Daedalus Caragiv, however, burned his already burned legs while throwing water on the fire. He suffered more severely burned legs (-3 to rolls with walking)



OOC: I grouped together all the "putting out fire" orders. Naturally, the ones with the higher rolled numbers will result in the best results from the fire effort

Second Order: Helps any burned or wounded people

Set aside petty differences and join in an attempt to put out a fire before it consumes anything else in the village, especially Mr. Smith's shop, and then accept grateful Mr. Smith's thanks and offer for a possible job.

I organize my Belarussians into a cohesive force to put out the fire using a bucket brigade, during which I cure my concussion by getting splashed; this will soon improve our solidarity and ensure that the Belarussian culture will survive the test of time

The great Vitaliy Kamnev was the hero of the great fire, as he rescues a family from a burning building and dives into the numerous fires to put it out from inside. Only suffering minor burns, the town flocks towards Vitaliy, as he gains 100 prestige and 30 gold. Mr. Smith also invents the new job of Firefighter (30 Gold/Turn, 10 Prestige/Turn), which is awarded generously to Vitaliy by the citizens. Meanwhile, the good Simon has gained quite a workout. After pulling buckets of water out of the river, and gaining strength for that, Simon helped drag out injured people who were hurt from the fire. As a result, Simon gains 2 strength and 50 prestige. Meanwhile, Niko, one of the driving forces who helped carry water out of the river, was only noticed by the few people who helped him carry water, as Niko stayed by the river long after the fire was put out. He has gained 20 prestige and 3 intelligence due to his quick thinking by starting the carrying of water from the river. Emmanuele also gained 2 intelligence for his quick thinking with throwing the rocks onto the fire, as well as 10 prestige. Major Ninjacow tried helping by throwing vodka into the fire, but most civilians were convinced he was actually fueling the fire. None the less, they were appreciative of his efforts. That also goes for the many other people who helped with the fire. The man known as Viktor tried to save Mr. Smiths shop, but accidentally transferred the fire to the shop by the slight burning of Viktor's clothes. Mr. Smith was unwilling to give a job to Viktor following this. The mighty Belarussian leader Terranski attempted to put the fire out with a bucket brigade, but failed miserably. Terranski then spent the rest of the time dunking his head in water to relieve his concussion with little result. Lastly, Chief Musa has been put under suspicion about the fact that he had created the fire. The citizens are now worried and lost some faith in the Chief, resulting in a loss of 5 prestige.



Allah
After the fire was finished, citizens began noticing the man Stalin, who had been prancing around the entire time. The citizens were concerned at the fact that their Allah had not helped the fire effort, but then consoled themselves by thinking that he probably was doing something more important (although we don't really know what that is, exactly)

In the end, Stalin has far too many supporters for the anti-Stalin's to handle. After declaring Jihad, Stalin takes advantage of the already disliked Chief Musa by overthrowing him. Stalin is now Chief. After becoming Chief, Stalin makes a failed attempt at beheading Sonereal, due to the fury of a large majority of citizens. Stalin, however, gains 60 prestige none-the-less.

Among the anti-Stalin's, Pietr, known for helping the elderly, gains 30 prestige from all the elderly who do not support Stalin. Additionally, Major Ninjacow has created Deprogramming Vodka (Remove Prestige From Another Character), but was unable to get close to Stalin to inject it to him. Taking a different approach, Daedalus Caragiv attempts debating with Stalin. Stalin, however, refused to debate. Daedalus Caragiv still gained 15 prestige for his efforts.
