I *think* he's spell immune, so defeating him with Magnadine would be the only method I know.

BCalchet was correct with Magnadine... you can also capture Acheron with an Inquistor/Luonnotar but it's only a 50% chance (he might just die instead).

Blight is wrong, at least - it's neither manual nor capable of destroying any land resource.
