FfH2 0.15 Bugs

Fire Elementals are banned from entering Ice (terrain feature), Coast, and Ocean. However, they are not banned from entering Lake. I assume that this is an oversight.

The Djinn is getting river penalties.

K, I made him and the water elemental amphibious.

There is no such thing as a lake tile.

Couple things I'm not sure have been mentioned, might have just missed them:

1) I keep getting spammed with "Debug Event: has trait <my name>" or something like that. Happens on the very first turn in some games, and several more times in the first hundred turns, then less frequently. I enabled the python popups but this message didnt change in any way. This occured while playing Arturus Thorne and Valledia the Even, haven't tried others yet.

2) Govannon's training ability doesn't seem to do anything. Is it not implemented yet?

Probably left-overs from a testing process at some point, you just get them whenever anyone in the game changes their traits. They'll be gone in .16, I believe.

It works fine - just make sure you teach him the right spells (mouse-over his training promotion to get a list), and he can pass them on to other living units.

Ah he needs to know the spell himself. Didn't realize that. Thanks.

I have the Order holy city but another civ in a far away land built the Code of Junil. According to the Pedia, I'm the only one who should be able to build it.

I should point out that I researched the Ashen Veil and it founded itself in the same city. I have the Order in all my other cities and it had to plant itself somewhere. I wanted to kill the Ashen Veil off but Purge the Unfaithful would not remove it.

Is it possible to make Purge the Unfaithful and/or Inqusitors destroy holy cities? That would be cool.

Its possible, but to this point we have decided to make holy cities unpurgable.

The Code of Junil should only be able to be made in the Order holy city. Could you attach a save game where it is founded somewhere else?

This is probably a vanilla bug (i already posted it for some older version), but maybe you can fix this anyway:

The writing free tech can be handed out twice (or even more often) per game.

When somebody discovers writing the game just checks if any other civ has writing - which isn't the case when all civs who had writing were killed.

Maybe it is possible to store the information if writing was discovered somewhere else (civilizion independend) to workaround this problem.

The person could have choose a free tech totally unrelated to Writing (Like Hunting, for example) and you get it by demand, but not writing. Then you discover writing and get another free tech... (The first "free tech" was Hunting, that you demanded from the person who it for free from writing)

Nevermind. The Code of Junil is sitting right where it should be. I could have sworn I saw a message saying otherwise about 50 turns back even though I don't remember building it very early in the game. :(

they still researched writing, and you didnt get it, so thats one tech that was researched and lost, and one tech that was free and still around, fair trade, hardly a big deal

The situation that you describe would happen if:
1. The only civ to discover writing also discovered trade.
2. They gave into a demand for tech.
3. They were destroyed before anyone else discovered writing.

Given how quickly other civs usually discover writing and the eagerness of civs to trade once they can, I think it is unlikely that this will occur in any but the most contrived situations.
