FfH2 0.16 Bug Thread

27. God King civic no longer gives +1 happy.

Not sure if this is bug or not, but on both Civics screen, tech screen and civlopedia it still says God King gives + 1 happiness

Not sure if this is a bug or just weird Ai but in a multi-player hotseat game last night the computer built 2 of The Sailor's Dirge on turn 1, in the same spot, they sailed together and went into the barbarian town that had Acheron in it on turn 49 and were still in it(never left) when we stopped for the night on turn 190.

43. Added the Cannibalize promotion (learnable by Undead with Combat II, heals the unit 10% everytime it kills a living opponent).

The Drown in my game have been able to learn Cannibalize as their very first promotion, without either Combat I or II

Are you sure the insanity trait works correctly? In my first 367 (playing on epic) I had not a single switch - making it not very insane...

You are right, I will fix it.

That should probably be removed from the changelog, civics were balanced a couple times; what it says on the civics screen should be accurate, i believe.

Good point, I'll correct it.

I'm getting more crashes to the desktop than in .015K, but that's probably because I've been playing on larger maps... I probably just need more RAM... :(

This isnt really a bug but i noticed the game is much laggier then usual on huge maps even for my computer.

After year 60 age of rebirth the game gets very laggy. Does anyone else notice this?

The end turn sequence is much longer also past 100 age of rebirth.

Yes. I have decided from now on to play on standard size maps, or smaller. Ah, well. My computer's old anyway.

When i start upp a new game with 0.16 everything seems to work, except for there is no menus at all. you can move your units if you click on them but there is nothing else on the screen. what could it be??

Have you accidentally turned off the UI? Try pressing Alt-I or Ctrl-I (IIRC those are the shortcuts for toggling it).

Also, check that you don't have any interface mods installed, such as Ruff's Cobbled SG Modpack.

I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but I have seen a few instances where when you subdue an animal, a rival civilization will immediately move into the square and kill the animal. I can understand when it is alone with a hidden flag, but should they be moving into a square with an occupied to attack another unit?

Also, I know it's been mentioned before, but what file do I have to download to make the flags not all white/blank?

Did you selected Terra map, the one that simulates Earth's geography? These maps are much larger and slower than all other map types. And anyway, huge maps are always terribly slow, so much that even in my 3GHz computer I decided to play on large maps instead.

hidden nationality is cool, but the AI doesn't stop sending me hidden nationality tigers, 3 each turn, it's not a big deal but i am exploiting it without even wanting to, my units are getting really FULL experiences due to the attacks of the weak tigers...

and just a curiosity, this game has been my first civ game ever where i found a barbarian city empty, (and conquered it of course) is that supposed to be possible?

i have had this happen after natures revolt and most the barbarians turn into animals and they all leave the city
