FfH2 0.32 Bug Thread

hmm, maybe it is not represented by an unit but shows up as a health bonus or as a city specialist?

That double relations effect is a bug all right.

well in .31 the button was still there, but now they can't clear forest OR jungle. I know Kael did something to get the AI to recognize that it won't destroy forest when it improves, but still, not bieng able to clear jungle is the part that is annoying me. The not clearing forest I can live with, it's the jungle part because they give the same resource output as a tundra tile. So it atually harms productivity to leave the jungle in.

However, I'm trying to find out whether this is intentional or not.

If it is intentional, then there needs to be some other way of removing jungle besides worldbuilder and using blaze, or make the jungle tiles more productive.

The elves have never been able to remove forests. The change is that they can't remove jungles anymore either. Im tryign to find a way to fix that without going back to the old way (in which the AI wouldnt place improvements on forests).

soo.. I have a save game here (calabim) that consistently crashes to desktop as soon as I hit <enter> to let the AI take its turn.

Any hints on how I can help debug it and find the problem?

No crash for me either.

that could work. Although I could see how someone could build an improvement, then pillage it (assuming it doesn't turn back into jungle) and build a different one on it if they need to.

Still sounds like a good temporary fix though.

It is Fellowship of Leaves. Maybe they've been worshiping jungles all along because the forests are coniferous.

I was wondering if you added a set of work orders for the elves that didn't remove the forests, like how camps can be placed in forests, and you removed the maintain features tag, would ai build those improvements? it would allow you to reimpliment the remove jungle. and you could have the elves automatically remove jungle like everyone else does when they build in them.

It might also be good for Jungles to upgrade to ancient forests. If the elves go FoL, then laving the Jungles behind is a good thing.

Honor doesn't seem to yield a free ecclastic anymore. Sad for trying to go Empyrean without getting honor first or founding it and giving it away in hopes of creating a religious block. :(
It may be a strong religion. But now it seems like the new CoE in terms of failure to spread. And thats not a good thing. The free desciples have been added for reason after all...

(I remember that i did get ecclastics by honor pre 0.31. . Could perhaps be wrong on my part though. Should be changed one way or the other.)

Had this the second time now. (first time in 0.31.). Perhaps its just a bug and doesn't happen every time?

Speaking of elven workers, are captured Elven workers supposed to be able to build improvements in forests? The ones I captured in a .32 patch A game had to remove forests before building improvements.

Sine .30, they have not had seperate build orders but an SDK change that checks for which civilization owns the units. Elven slaves are the worst workers, while Mud Golems captured by the elven civs are the best

Not sure about this, but have the Illians been made unplayable. They're not pickable after picking the custom game.

Is wither considered a disease? Roiser the fallen, has immunity to disease but I landed wither on him.

bug 1:

sometimes when a unit with immortal promotion in a stack dies the whole stack is teleported to the next neutral plot.

bug2:

i had a stack with 5 war elephants with immortal promotion. the stack got killed by pyre zombies. the problem was that not all of my immortal promoted units where reborn in my capital, only two of them. the other three elephants where lost in the ether
(maybe a problem with the pyre zombie collateral damage?)

Got a strange Python error when I used ctrl+W to open WB. I had a great prophet selected (it came active when the turn started) when I opened WB. Maybe I had the mouse on a wierd spot and the WB didn't like that. Also, Acheron had just showed up.

It went fine after I closed that. I can't seem to reproduce the error, maybe its one of those fluke events where it had to do with the timing and a whole bunch of stuff happening at just the right time. Then it never shows up again...

lightning elementals have always been permanent

Adepts shouldnt upgrade to archmages.

Upgrading adepts to mages gives two free promotions.

If i skip the upgrade to a mage i lose these two free promotions.

Upgrading adepts to archmages costs less than upgrading to a mage first.
