FfH2 Bug Thread

It Shadowwalk working properly? I'm attempting to attack a city on a hill, defended by Gilden Silveric who has the Guerilla promotion. When selecting a Shadowwalk'd unit, the odd's calculations still includes +65% tile defense, just as it does for units who don't have SW.

Patch S.

Hi all, i am not sure this is exact thread for posting my python exception or not so do forgive me if i post in wrong thread.

My python exception is

Traceback (most recent call last):
File"CvScreensInterface"line 749, in force ScreenRedraw
File"CvMainInterface",line 3772, in Redraw
Runtime Error: unidentifiable C++ exception.

Any hint to help me clear up would greatly appreciated.

Had the same thing happen. You just need to exit to desktop and reload your saved game. It took care of the problem for me. This never happened before this current version of the mod -- I think it may be related to the Genesis effect.

I second that, Shadow Walking seems to have no effect (0.40s)

I think Shadowwalk ignores city defences - ie; that from pallisades/walls/archery ranges - so presumably the guerilla and hill % should still count

Yes, Shadowwalk only ignores those bonuses plus the bonus defense from culture (any bonus having to do with cities, basically). But not terrain bonuses, which would include Gilden's Guerilla bonus.

On upgrading to the red lady as the scions, I was able to move her out of the capitol even though still shackled (albiet at a movement rate reduced by 1). Is this intended?

Oh, one more bug as the scions - on upgrading to red lady I was suddenly able to build the shrine of the champions, as if my hero had died.

Edit - Thanks jwin - sorry about that.

Wrong thread, Tim. Only post unmodded bugs here. That is from fall further.

Thanks. 'Ignores Terrain Defense', which is how it's described in the Civpedia, is a bit ambiguous. If it only ignores city bonuses, that makes it a pretty lousy 2nd level spell, since the 1st level one, Blur, already ignores defensive strikes. But I guess that's a topic for another thread. :cool:

I was playing as the Illians, and I saw the names of all the unique wonders when I zoomed out completely.

with Keelyn and OO, i was able to upgrade all my slaves to lunatics. Workers 7/4 everywhere in my country, and sometimes when they get mad, in neighbourhood...
5 gold per slave + 45 for upgrading them to lunatics, not very expensive for a chaotic circus crew.

There seems to be an issue with multiplayer games and Hyborem (the Demon). We have about five or so players in a Fall From Heaven II game along with a few computer factions. When the computer AI brings in the Demon, we all suddenly go Out Of Sync. This has happened several times. Is this a known issue?

I was playing Infernals, and my capital lost the Demonic Citizens building when I rebuilt the palace in another city (Patch r). Maybe it is related to the fact that when the infernals started, they didn't begin with a city like they do sometimes. They came with 2 settlers and I captured a city before building any. The captured one had a palace in it already - I guess cuz it was their 1st city. It didn't come good next turn either, but putting the building back in the WB fixed it.

That actually is a feature. Slaves upgrade to lunatics with an asylum. Had been nice for the sidar back when disbanding crazy Lunatics made them barbs...
Combined with slave trade resolution from undercouncil an acceptable substitute for directly buying units when you have missed the guild of the nine.

Not so sure if the price is still so low. 5 Gold per slave hasn't been the case in ages (more like 30? Gold each). Or you might be plaing quick.

Yes. You have to reload once. After Hyborem / Basium enter there is always an OOS. Isn't that listed in the known issues at the start of this thread?

Edit: Nope not in the first post but in the middle of Page 1. Here is the post in question:

Just thought I'd mention these Multiplayer bugs/crashes and their quick fixes for players;
  1. Game often crashes at gamestart. Loading autosave fixes this so not that big of a problem, if you know about it.
  2. Rejoining causes OoS every time. Rehosting with save fixes it.
  3. And of course, changing to Hyborem or Basium causes OoS, rehosting with save fixes it.

units change their look all the time. (a warrior looks like pikeman or paladins look like warriors) has that been reported before?
