Fastest Game News Online (FGN) had an exclusive interview with Firaxis President and CEO, Jeff Briggs. For the first time, Jeff Briggs confirms that Firaxis hopes to release Civilization III this Fall (i.e. October) and they are currently in the playtesting and game balancing stage. Click here to read the full interview!

Blah, blah, blah...Firaxis is starting to sound like a broken record. Every time that a new preview or interview comes out, I get all jacked up. Then, I see the same old news with a new spin....It's getting old. I want some new, detailed news! While I know that Firaxis can't lay all of the cards on the table just yet, I think that they could show us a little more than they are...And BTW, where is DAN?!?

gjts, homes, you stole the words from me before I could say them. When will Firaxis give us some new info on Civ 3? Resource system? yeah we heard that before. Bargaining Table? yeah we heard that too. Culture? yes we heard. How about the new city screen? YES WE'VE HEARD IT ALL! Now why don't you sit down and tell us a little about the MP? No, sorry, we're not allowed to disclose that information at this time. Well how about the infrastructure? No, sorry, we're...

GRRRR It's driving me sane!

I know.... answers in this interview are almost identical to previous ones.

Why didn't they asked more precise questions such as "How many Civs are allowed in a game"??? We don't even know the answer to such a basic question.
