Update 1
Notes
I have marked the de facto borders with red, disjointed lines. De jure (“official”

borders are thick red. To expand de facto borders, use units, build settlements, whatever.
Secondly, I have placed the percent economic growth of each settlement in their respective sheets under “Economic Bonus/Growth”. Each year, you must meet or surpass that percentage growth or lose stability. If you had a 100% growth and only come in with 50% next year, you lose 25 stability. HOWEVER, if you had 100% growth and next come up with 125%, you gain 25 stability. The safest way to decrease investment in a settlement, therefore, is a jagged decline, but not steep, decline.
Mobilized settlements don't experience this nearly as severe.
Finally, the difference between sanctions and embargoes.
Sanctions: Your investment to DIRECT trade routes to the sanctioned nation are halved.
Embargo: Your investment to direct routes to the embargoed nation are 0. Your investment to routes that run through your borders to the embargoed nation is halved.
Global News
IN THE EAST, Lettyr Mooar emerges as the most powerful force on the continent, despite being considered “average” in overall power. Lettyr Mooar and its new city both have access to the Wanderer, a new recon unit.
Seedumn Moose, a new desert settlement, suffered fifty deaths this year as a result of harsh realities of living in the desert.
IN THE WEST, Daggerfall, the Patricy, and Osmowjesh created the League of the North, a trade league to oversee their trade routes. The trade league oversees nearly $2000 in trade, or 20% of global trade. The center of the League of the North is Osmowran and is dominant on the Eironian continent.
Andorra controls 25% of global trade, quickly becoming an economic juggernaut.
IN THE SOUTH, three settlements developed Wanderers and Carpenhagen is the regional trade center.
Commentary
The League of the North opened on the western continent, resulting in the three participants of the trade route to monopolize northern trade. Merchants of Andorra are facing stiff competition along the League routes, reducing their effectiveness.
Osmowjesh lost sixty people this year to emigration to Andorra, Casterly Rock, and Daggerfall.
Lettyr Mooar, Ionnika, Oslow, and Arendberg all discovered the Wanderer unit. This early recon unit has longer range than contemporary units, and grants forces in battles the Recon Bonus. Only these settlements can raise Wanderers, but the technology should spread along trade routes soon enough. Check Unit section for more details.
