Yes, I know. Thanks. Was suggesting they might make an exception, but might screw the code too much.
Yeah, you have to last hit cities to capture vs moving over Barbarian encampments.

Doubt it, since you still have one attack command.
It just looks like a warrior with a 1 tile ranged attack, the scout promotion is probably similar.
This Immortal thing is confusing. Is it a melee unit or a ranged unit?
If melee, it should let warriors upgrade to it and get melee promotions, but then it still can't capture a city???
If ranged, it gets ranged promotions and turns into a crossbow?
Makes no sense.
Haven't been able to view the video yet. What's Persia's symbol? Hopefully some variation of the Farohar?

Unlikely, since they already use that for Zoasterism.
It has a higher combat strength than a comparable ranged unit.I thought they said in the video it defended like a swordsmen
So, as far as Persia's Symbol, does anyone think it will likely be one of the two that appear on Cyrus's character design?
Spoiler :![]()
Either the symbol on his robes (wheel-like), or on his chest (bird-figure)

Did you notice they put Firaxis logos on his bracers like Frederick's cloak pin?
The symbol from his shoulderpads is already in use for Zoasterism, so it probably won't be that.
They look similar to me, but I only have a passing familiarity. The symbol on him is Cryus's standard, it somewhat similar to the Faravahar (the symbol of Zoroastrianism), you sure that is the one they use in game, because that would be odd.
