Florida is on!

Therefore totally worth getting stuck with the crappy seats in the convention halls. :)

I never understood why the seating was considered something worth negotiating over. Number of delegates and how they are distributed seem way more important than the hotel or seating.

I dunno ? Thus me asking . I just figured if it was close , well some guy won in a close finish . They do the votes in all the states and heh presto ! Dude picked .Clearly my understanding of the whole primaries system is lacking so I'll do some research and get back to you if I need to .

EDIT....thanks Antilogic and Cutlass .....Nicky J , love ya mate but you failed this time . And after hearing about this process if it's tight , I'm doubling my wish that it goes to the convention . Sounds freaking awesome

I believe at the Convention you need a majority vote, so if there are three candidates with delegates the winner of the most votes in the primaries won't necassarily have enough votes to win.
There are also a number of unpledged delegates who can vote however they want at the convention, meaning one would require more than a simple majority to win before the convention..

If you're a self-important prick who gets the right to vote for someone most of the electorate in your state is telling you not to vote, then hotels and seating are just side issues.
