For creationists: Why do you think creationism makes more sense then evolution?

Well i know we have many creationists in OT, roughly a few handfuls, so please explain this to me.

How an unscientific explanation about life makes more sense then a backed up theory with evidence.

Personally, I think a lot of religious folk deny evolution because they feel it goes against their religious views. However, a lot don't seem to understand that evolution itself only explains how species evolve, and not how they first arose. So they do not conflict. I don't see why more religious people don't believe in their god creating the creatures on the earth, and after that, they began to evolve on their own.

I am not a creationist, but unscientific explanations don't make more sense; they are secondary to an irrational belief that permits unscientific things to be true.

In the same way, a person who irrationally believes that reason is the source of all truth will disbelieve anything that cannot be proven through reason. The most basic of a persons beliefs determines how all other (secondayr) information is treated. Where you begin will determine where you will end up.

I would agree that there are many little "truths" that are transitory and limited. Is there no larger "Truth" (capital T)?

There is internal truth and external truth. External truth requires logic and reason to comprehend. Internal truth requires much more than that.

Evolution is external so we use reason to understand it.

Yes, there is no real PROOF that evolution theory is true. There is only some evidence which points to it. In fact, only math theorems can be strictly PROVEN.

However, any scientific theory has the right to exict as long as it doesn't condradict itself and is practically useful. AFAIK, the is no self-contradictions in the Evolution theory.

Digestion is a natural phenomenon therefore it is 'external'.

Internal matters are matters of spirituality, such as meditation and internal psychological events.

He didn't say his view was complicated. He said the understanding of YEC by many evolutionists was flawed in so many ways as to render it such.

Aside from that, why would he not be able to understand his own view even if complicated?
