(France/England) and (Mongolia/China)

Is there a mod or something that can remove those (to me, personally) mega-annoying (parentheticals) beside Eleanor's and Kublai's names?
Honestly the one thing I hope they fix before Firaxis ends support for this game.

Ironically I think it was brought up and it got the devs attention. Unfortunately they did the opposite of what everyone wanted and put the parenthesis besides Eleanor to match Kublai.
I wouldn't hold my breath for more support cause it seems like April was the end.

Since the last update, the names of Eleanor of Aquitaine and Kublai Khan, whenever they lead either of their respective civilizations, appear as, for example, "Eleanor of Aquitaine (France)" and "Kublai Khan (China)". Not only does it look weird to see the parentheticals in a sentence in-game, but it also makes their names too long to fit on the leader selection screen.

Ohhh I couldn't know because i don't play with those leaders. Thx for the explanation. It seems somebody else complained it was not clear whether they are leading France/England, or Mongolia/China... could make sense for the AI we meet I guess.

I just think because of the distinct leader designs, theme music, and the fact that it tells you which civilization you've just met on the side, it seems really annoying and pointless to put the name of the country in parentheses beside the leader name.

it could be that this name is used in other places where it's not clear, like a notification saying one of them declared war on you or killed a unit (just examples out of my mind)

Assuming you play with duplicate leaders/civs, sure. Then it would make sense to include it.
But if you're a typical player, it just grabs the eye and takes up screen space.
PLEASE someone fix this. I'm starting to miss Eleanor's sass.
