I posted a thread containing Godshatefaqs once, but it was closed due to the lack of relevant discussion. I have a friend who collects Phelps sermons and plays them due to his comedic value.

Wow, obvious blatant misinterpetations that take all of 10 seconds to disprove. And I thought people couldn't get any stupider. These guys give Fundamentalist Christians a bad name. I mean come on, protesting at funerals? That's just sick. If I was attending a funeral, and he was protesting outside of it, I would....well, let's put it this way, he'd be on a liquid diet and in a wheel-chair for awhile, and if he hasn't had kids yet, he won't be able to in the future. People like this guy disgust me.

Phelps is less than two hours away from me by car. Please believe me when I tell you that, beyond his local church of whackos and the nutball fringe elsewhere, nobody gives him any credence whatsoever. He's a racist, hatemonger, all around anti-everything this country stands for and 99.99% of the population knows it.

Some of Phelps cronies picketed my school this fall because our theater department was showing "The Laramie Project", a play sympathizing with a gay kid who walked into a bar and ended the night beaten and dead.

The irony is great - the play takes place partially at Matthew Shepard's funeral - where Fred Phelps is protesting. In the play.
