As Arya said, that is the canon ending. But dont worry, I still have the original storyline set a few years earlier if I ever want to run another game like this. It's just another of the MANY AC ideas I have floating around.

Well, I walked into a gunfight on the decks of a boat, realized a dude was wearing too much armor to beat, went below decks to self-destruct the ship while the team seized the chopper the bad guys came on, attempted to start the process when Omega tackled and sedated me, then tied me up in the cargo bay, I woke up, got free, set up the self-destruct and ran for the exit but the ship blew up before we could get away.

I want it known that this was an accident; I was trying to shoot Fa Ping.

Why?

Anyways, I have an idea: make it all a dream of... Anybody. And then rerun the mission, or make that one person kill Ping out of fear for the dream coming true and then rerunning the mission, or the next one.

I suggested a retcon after the mission; it was shot down there as well.
