It takes up to an hour for the server to update certain things, and this is one of them. If it's not active now, give it a bit and it should be there soon.

What should we do about double posts? I always edit one to say something like "rats, double post, mods please delete" but there are planty still lurking. Should we use the report button on others', and/or ask people to report our own double-posts? Or PM a mod? Or just edit the "please delete" to be really obvious?

If I see a post that says "Mods, please delete" I'll usually delete it. However, I don't go looking for them. And I'll always delete when someone PMs me requesting that it be removed. But it doesn't happen very often.

Well I got my custom avatar up but it seems like the 70x70 pixel limit is substantially smaller than the sizes of the predefined avatars. Would be nice if they could be made equal size, otherwise the custom avatars look puny in comparison.
A smaller avatar is the price of individuality at CFC. If you subscribe to the "bigger is always better" school of thought, then the canned avatars will meet your needs. But the chicks here are less concerned about size. They prefer guys without size issues who can make a statement in other ways.

Type [img]the web address of your piccie[/img] as a starter, if it's already online. The Upload File button at the bottom of the page will get you a pic uploaded (for use only at CFC iirc); in which case the web addie to put between the img tags would be http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads10/your picture's name and file extension.
