anybody got the svartalfar spell KIDNAP to work?
it's always greyed out for me regardless if im in an enemy city (at war with civ), neutral city (peace) or in an vassal city with settled great peoples.
(i even have the esus state religion)

Boy, it's been a while since I've played. Just started a Ljosalfar game and noticed that building a cottage on ancient forest will supposedly destroy the forest. Is this a change to elven cottages or is the "resource change summary" incorrect?

The po-pup says so but the forest will stay on place.

The summary is incorrect, this is possibly fixed along with Kael making the AI know that the summary is incorrect in .32

Thats not possible yet.
The scenario screen is only a teaser for "ice" the phase of the mod.

Set bDefault to 1 and find out


It changes the size of various graphics and forces all units to use Single Unit Graphics. It is meant for use in Scenarios where you are dealing on a more "personal level" than the main game, and each unit represents a person instead of a battalion.

Hell-O,

I have a problem with Hyborem. I have lots of units I can send against him, but none actually accepts to hit him. They seem to fear him each time. I can understand this happening maybe 3 times out of 4, but when 8 units refuse to finish him (and his HP are about .6), it's quite annoying.

I'm starting to think I won't be able to kill him (but HE is starting to slay my precious, high XP units). So, is there a way to get "courage", or for my units to attack without it ?

Yeah, today I was playing Svartalfar and I ended up in a nasty border war with Hyborem. I had to trade spirit mana (I only had one raw node and I converted that early on to water). It costed me eight resources (damn that banner/bannor guy).

I won the war just a couple of turns after that. Although it helped that my assassin(s) was killing off his pile of nerds.

After a long time, i started a regular BtS Game again. But soon, i got pissed off by the few Ressources on random maps. Is there a chance to use the "Blessing of Amathaon" Option in regular BtS? That would be great !
